I bought these for our tiny downstairs bathroom in our condo in the mountains, where it gets extremely cold because there is no heating vent in the bathroom. These little heaters really put out the heat, are quiet, and the small footprint enabled me to fit it in the corner of countertop right behind the sink, which works great because a)it warms your hands when you wash them and b) that is where the plug is. All the other room heaters I looked at were just too big, too expensive, or both. I really only needed one of these but because they were so inexpensive for two I got them and now have an extra for other cold spots. The thermostat is great too, you just heat the room to desired temp on high, then lower the dial and it will keep the room at desired temperature. This bathroom is getting a lot more use now.

Bought these primarily for bathroom that was cold. Thought would save other one for backup. One puts out enough heat for the bathroom and my bedroom. Put the other in my sons' room. Got so hot in there my son wanted to turn on A/C. Been in the 20's and 30's @ night and still have not turned on furnace. Bought a larger heater for my living room. I am so happy with these, I am buying more for backups. I only paid $9 for both on clearance and will gladly pay more for the second set. My electric bill has fallen drastically. But be careful. Cannot put these on same circuit. It WILL trip your breakers if you put on same circuit.

They don't take up much room and are easy to move from room to room. They don't put out a blast of heat just enough to take the edge off if you're close to them. One good thing about them is that they don't use as much power as other heaters. This is helpful in my old apartment building where the wiring isn't really designed to support a lot of modern appliances at the same time.

I thought I was getting a deal when I bought two fans for 31.00 however the heating fans are the exact same price at target. My dog has knocked them both down and they stop working afterwards. I wait an hour and plug them in and they work majically again. The heat they produce works fine in my 1000 square foot house but are most definately not top quality. The heat that is produced cannot be felt no further than 5 ft. from the fan itself. It does have a thermostat but does not work unless u move it til it cuts off them move it about one milimeter til it cuts back on and it will eventually cut off once the room reaches 75 degrees. That is the only way I have gotten the thermastat to actually cut the heating fan off. When cutting it on and off I hear a metal scrubbing sound but it stops once the fan speeds up. All in all I have two fans that work for now I've had them 2 months and I don't see them lasting years like other quality products that may not even be made anymore. The fact that they are only 1200 watts a piece makes it a little better

These two littler heaters, are a great deal. I took one to work, my office is so cold and at times feels like the ac is on instead of the heat. You regulate tempeature by the dial on top, turn the dial until the unit starts to blow the heat out or turn the dail back down until it stops. The unit is very quite. The second one is for my bathroom which is now warm and comfortable when I get out of the shower. These are ideal for small spaces. I do recommend for safety, to unplug the heater when not in use because it doesn't have an on/off switch. Turning the dial until it either turns the unit on or off is not the same as an actual on/off switch. Think about it, when the room cools below the setting it will turn on and start running and you may not want that to happen. Unplug when not in use.
