The popper arrived in good condition with some assembly required. Directions to assemble were poor and we had trouble figuring out the way to attach the lid. The popper works but only half the popcorn pops. The rest of the kernels shoot out of the metal bowl while the popcorn is popping. We have tried a number of different ways to approach this problem, but nothing working yet. We purchased this popcorn maker for media room. It works great no issues at all, It was easy to put together. It has a very nice finish to it. Love the black over red. I loved the way it looks and it also makes great popcorn. I would say its a must have for a theater room.
