I have a home office above my garage and during the summer it is the warmest place in the whole house. This fan is just perfect. It keeps the air moving in a way where it does not blow you out of a chair or blow things off my desk. I keep it on the floor and let it turn on its own back and forth. The remote is pretty handy too. Very easy to use and very effective in keeping the room cool so I don't have to crank the AC unit in the whole house. Lifesmart really makes great products. We bought 2 of their heaters last year and really saved on energy. It's a brand we trust

i am not even going to say much about this "thing", yes i say a thing because i can not understand how this is called a "fan"...bladeless..it is also windless !!!!Best Deals for Lifesmart Jet Extra Large 16" Bladeless Cooling Fan w/Remote
I just purchased mine for $49 at Menards in Coon Rapids, MN. this was a end of summer sale. Even at that price it's going back and I'm purchasing a "Lasko" tower fan. This Smart bladeless fan sounds like a micro turbine engine that needs to be oiled. It's a very annoying sound that won't even work for me as a "white noise maker" because of the high pitched metallic screeching god awful noise. It sounds like a robotic cat in a blender. And like the other reviews, this has about 1/2 to a 1/3 of wind movement when compared to a conventional fan.Honest reviews on Lifesmart Jet Extra Large 16" Bladeless Cooling Fan w/Remote
I would not recommend this fan at all. I purchased 2 of them ... Both are very noisy and hardly push any air at all. On the highest setting hardly any airflow is felt. I was hoping sor something good with this fan ... Very disappointed.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lifesmart Jet Extra Large 16" Bladeless Cooling Fan w/Remote
Originally looking for the Dyson I came across this one. The hundreds of dollars I was saving if I purchased this unit compelled me to try it out. To get even marginal output you have to turn the thing to 85% output, which makes it about as noisy as a jet at take-off.At the $85 price or so I paid, I was expecting a better fan. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else. A shame because Lifesmart makes decent portable heaters.
