I bought this model on Saturday at my local Wal-Mart and paid $45 for it and I have to admit that it was a great investment. I love this little heater. It does everything it claims here on Amazon. I'm going to purchase another one, but this time from Amazon and its the Lasko 5568 34-Inch Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater with Remote Control which is a little bigger for the livingroom.

heater works exactly as described and can warm up a apartment size living room in very little time, actually gets so warm i have to turn it off. keeps the natural gas bill low, works great and love the remote control.

Not a bad little heater. It would be nice if the display was back lit so you could read the panel when it is dark. The oscillating mechanism makes a loud knock sound every rotation that is pretty annoying so I keep it off. When I first ordered this heater it arrived with bits of the plastic broken off and the remote control batteries were dead. I returned it and received one that wasn't previous used. I can't really recommend this product. There are much better ones out there for the price.
