Pros
5 trays hold a lot of food
Fairly quite so it doesn't interfere with daily living
Very easy to use (only an on/off switch)
Instructions contain lots of recipes and detailed drying information
Low cost
Good durability (I've had mine for about 4 years and it works as good as the day I got it)
Cons
Heat circulation is not even from top to bottom (you have to rotate the trays every few hours to keep the dehydration between trays consistent)
No temperature settings for custom drying levels and times
Power cord is only a couple feet long (fine if you have counter space where the power outlet is)
As a final note, I haven't used this unit more than 10 times. I have always had good results and the unit does exactly what it's supposed to. I would call this a beginner level dehydrator and now that I've had some experienced with dehydrating, I think I would purchase a more advanced model. My dehydrator is the exact same model as the one on Amazon, but mine was not purchased from Amazon.
