I bought this stove as a gift for a friend who has a tri-level house, in the winter it is quite cold in the lower level where the big TV is. Right out of the box we plugged this little stove in and within a short amount of time the room was quite toasty! The remote control is great to just shut it down when it gets too warm! The flames look incredibly real. No need for the heavy winter sweaters and blankets anymore to watch TV! Great little stove, easy to move from room to room, very realistic flames, extremely quiet with lots of warm air coming out! The unit itself does not get hot nor does the surrounding floor! Best gift I could give! Thank you Dimplex for a great product and Thank you Amazon for a great price!

I got this to replace an identical unit I had for 5 years that finally went bad on me last year. It took me a while to find the same unit again and it looks identical to my old one, even the same model number, but the heat it puts out is so much less than my old one did.

I love the look of this stove. I have a kitchen that needs a little nostalgia and warmth. This stove accomplishes both for me. It is so nice to sit at my kitchen table with a cup of tea and look at the realistic flames of this stove. Suits my needs on a chilly late fall/winter day.
