Owning an old farmhouse in Maine often times equates to frozen pipes in the winter or ice jams on our enclosed porchthis heater offers tip over shut off, adjustable temp and other safety options which make it ideal to pop under a cupboard or put in an enclosed space to warm frozen pipes. It's not the prettiest most modern looking heater but having children and pets we needed a practical and safe heater should we want to have it running in higher traffic areas. This purchase is replacing a very very old heater of similar style which had worked well for us until it died of old age. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

This piece of junk didn't even last a month. The fan quit & it almost started a fire! I bought it for work. Now I'm gonna be cold all day today, off to my local hardware store after work to buy something better.
