I saw this RoadPro mug in a Pilot Truck Stop so figured if truckers buy it it must work. Wrong. My coffee woluld stay warmer sitting in the sun. USB 5v doesn't do a thing. The 12v from the car not much better. I had a $6 12v mug from Walmart that kept the coffee hot but it only lasted 6 months and was only a christms item. I'll wait.Thursday, September 4, 2014
Cheap 12V, Travel Mug, Stainless Steel
I have had many kinds of 12v mugs. Most have been poor quality and inexpensive. I decided to buy what looked like a new design and was 3-4 times more expensive than any I had previously purchased. I WAS WRONG!!! The design was new but the effectiveness of the product was sadly lacking. To the touch it felt warm on the inside. but it did not have the capability of keeping even very warm coffee warm. I had tried it for even 2 hours and the contents going in warm came out practically cold. I bought two cups--so it was not just one defective cup. I returned them to Amazon! :(
