What I like about this product :

the unit is very compact (measures 1 foot in height and 6" for the base diameter). It can be conveniently placed in areas like top of the desk or on a book shelve

the heater provides pretty good heating coverage with its V-Flow circulation. It also provides immediate heat to the room as opposed to the slower oil-Filled radiator units.

more energy efficient that the 1500 W space heaters. By measuring with a Kill-a-watt power meter, the unit uses about 19 W in the fan only mode, 460 W in low heat setting, and 880 W in high heat setting. With a $ 0.24 / Kwh electricity rate, it would cost approximately $ 0.21 per hour of usage. The actual electricity rate would vary based on the area we live.

safety features such as automatic safety shut-off and tip over protection.

What could be better for this product :

the timer on the unit is fixed at 4 hours. Would be nice if there is an incremental time setting for the unit

Overall, I would recommend this product for those who want a compact heater rather the larger and higher power

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program For a such a small heater, I'm amazed by how quickly and completely it heats a small room. I can go to any corner of the room and feel the warmth...not just in the area of the heater. Even the farthest corner of the room, which impressed me.

It's very quiet, even on the highest setting and it takes up very little space, being a tower heater.

You feel the heat right away and in a few minutes a cool room will warm up. It has an 140-degrees exit air temperature to keep the room comfortably warm.

There's a safety feature on the bottom of the unit where if the heater tips or is moved, it turns off. This gives you peace of mind if you have kids or pets that could possibly tip the heater.

Other safety features include: 'Tight Grill Spacing' so fingers can't be stuck inside, a 'Cool Touch Case', 'Auto-Shut Off' if the airflow becomes blocked or the heater becomes overheated.

For settings, there are 2 heat settings (450 watts and 900 watts). There's also a fan only and a timer so you can set it for 4 hours.

The heater size is perfect for a small bedroom, home office, nursery or similar size space. If you're spending time in one room and don't want to waste money heating up your whole house, this powerful little heater is an ideal solution.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I always keep a small heater next to my desk to warm my feet. The heater I have been using is the top-rated (Consumer Reports) Holmes HFH436WGL-UM Heater Fan with Bathroom Safe Plug. The problem I have with that heater is that it is too loud and too hot. You can only turn it off or on (it has a thermostat) but not lower the heat or air flow. It's a great heater but too much for my feet.

This heater, however is perfect for my office for the following reasons.

Size: it is an inch taller and six inches narrower than the holmes heater and takes up little space next to my desk.

Sound: very quiet.

Heat: two air speeds and it subtly warms rather than getting really hot like the holmes heater. That doesn't mean it can't heat the room just does it more gently and slowly.

Company reputation: I already have several Vornado fans and they are running as well as when I bought them years ago.

The thermostat and safety features are a plus. The price is higher than other good small heaters but Vornado always costs a little more with the logic that you are paying for the quality.

Addendum: Been running it daily for a week now. While it works well for keeping me warm, it doesn't room the room as much as the Holmes heater. That still works for me because the rest of the family complain if I get the room too hot.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I love this. I feel it is overpriced, but am not downgrading it for that because I still I haven't found anything else in this class. It is small, one foot tall, and has a great carry handle built into the back near the top. NONE of the outside surfaces get hot, even on high, and if it is picked up or tipped the safety tab on the bottom cuts it off instantly, so it is very safe for the kids and animals to be around. This is very important to us.

The settings are 450 and 900 watts. The low setting is somewhat warming, the high really puts it out!

When it is on, the ring around the switch on top glows so it is clear when it is on. It blows

about a 90 degree width into the room.

I wish there was a one hour setting on the timer, to go to sleep by. And I wish they would make a smaller personal one with a 200 or 250 watt setting.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We're using this to heat a small open living room, so far it's done a great job! I had to get used to it not oscillating, because all of our previous heaters rotate. But this is good, because I don't need to clear out space around the heater. For a little slim fan it does a decent job of warming up a room. There was no off-gassing on first use, it just powered up quick. There's a fan, and low and high setting (but no in-between), automatic shut off when tipped over, and a 4 hour timer.

This is a great little cool-touch heater (my 2 1/2 year old touched it and though it was hot, he didn't burn himself). What prevents this from being perfect is a thermostat control, and more heating options beside low and high.
