Really love the looks! Looks high quality even though it is made of MDF primarily. I hate MDF, but they put it in everything these days. Assembly was easy, took me a couple hours working alone. I'm a handy female. It is quite heavy once assembled. Don't sink/over tighten the screw-in bolts that lock the base and top to the wall panels. After I had assembled the unit, I noticed the little diagram flash card that was not in the installation manual.
The glass doors on the cabinets help keep the TV components from getting dusty, and they are spacious (Each cupboard is 17.5"D x 18" W). The height of the unit (26.5") allows the TV to be at eye level. Other measurements are 19.5"D x 68.25"W.
The electric fireplace looks cute. I haven't seen other electric fireplaces, so I have nothing to compare the flames to, but I'm a perfectionist, and I have no complaints. There are 5 levels of brightness, although the brightest level doesn't light up a room so it can't be an only light source. You can have it on all seasons because you can choose to have it burning with or without the space heater function. The space heater heats up my 260sf room nicely. The noise level of the blower is decent and does not interfere with TV viewing. Comes with a small remote control or use the controls on the unit.
It was packed well for shipping, however, it still got damaged. I sent pictures, and the manufacturer quickly replaced it with one that was damaged at the factory (a nail split the wood). They quickly replaced that one, but the next one had the same damage. So I was disappointed with their quality control. They quickly replaced that one, but it got minor damage in shipping. I just accepted it because I got a great price on it in the first place.
