This fan... ahem, I mean air circulator is amazing. I was searching for a good tower-type fan for the living room and during my research online I came across this company, Vornado. They have this video online which compares their vortex air-circulating technology to regular fans and I was sold. Vornado said that most fans when they are oscillating would only send out a breeze of air only for brief seconds before you're waiting for next the revolution, which is very true and it wouldn't cool the air at all, so you would just get air blown at you without feeling cool especially if you have damp, humid air with poor circulation in the room. Well what Vornado's vortex technology does is that it circulates the air, this model circulates up to 70-ft, balancing the cool and hot air of the room to an even temperature that feels cooler and less humid. And this fan does just that! You can actually feel this cool breeze even when the fan is not blowing air directly at you and when air is being blown directly at you it is very cool air and really moves a lot of air with just a small unit. I'm so sold on this fan that I'm hoping my other pedestal fan dies so I can soon replace that with another of Vornado's air-circulators.

Had this fan about 2 weeks and it works great. I have had two seperate people tell me that fan is amazing. Really does move quite a bit of air for a little guy and it is pretty quiet. If you are thinking of purchasing an oscillating fan do not waste your money. This fan moves air all over the room. great buy and a space saver

This product is very well made and moves a lot of air. It is very quiet and compact enough to fit in a window great for bringing in the cool night air. I was a little concerned to see that there is a fuse in the plug since I have never seen that. I called Vornado customer service to ask what size and type the fuse is so that I could get a few to have on hand and they sent me several free of charge. Thanks Vornado!

Very well made fan. So far no rattles and very good performance. Even on lowest setting it is not super quiet but its not overly intrusive. Its quite loud on the mid and high settings though. Id buy another one in a heartbeat.

This fan performs well, keeps the air circulating in my kitchen and the three speeds are adequate. However, would have been better had this been an oscillating fan. Great space saver on the kitchen counter and is quiet even on high speed.
