Received the unit on Tuesday and installed it on Wednesday. We put it into our "entertainment center" which is a set of kitchen cabinets with a formica top. Merely removed the center door post/support from one of the cabinets and slid this unit into it. Filled in the sides with maple that we painted black to match the stove insert. Really looks good sitting into the cabinet under our television. "Flames" do look realistic and the "brickwork effect" helps to make it look like a real fireplace. Flames are adjustable to 6 different height/glow settings. Will probably never use the heater aspect of this because we live in Arizona and don't really need to. I did try out the heater just to see how loud the fan was. Not loud at all and, if used, wouldn't interfere with watching TV or listening to music. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in a "fireplace" but can't install a real one.

I contacted the manufacturer and replacement parts were sent in about 7 days. This repaired the noise and blue LED. I also have a 23 inch firebox. The flame is is good on the 28EF023GRA, but excellent on the 23 inch unit. Logs are different so the flame blues don't show as well on the 28 inch unit.Best Deals for Classic Flame 28 in.
