Over many year have purchased dozens of suction/transfer pumps. Few worked well, this one works great! I quickly transfered gas from garden equipment for winterizing. It was easy to empty tank because the suction line is straight & rigid.

I had one of these siphon pumps to fill my kerosene heater. It got a hole in the squeeze bubble at the top. Our hardware stores only had cheap, small, no flow pumps available. I love this one, the flow is good and I can fill my heater without worring about it taking forever to fill or spilling it everywhere. Even with shipping and handling, this was cheaper than the hardware stores crappy pumps too.

Bought this pump and it worked quite well.

There were only 2 drawbacks. The first is that the squeeze pump burst (along the seams) after one month of mild use; also you have to work the pump a bit (to get an even, steady flow) which causes a slash if the container being siphoned into is shallow.

Otherwise, it's a great product.

Not sure how long this will last, but for now I'm very pleased it has helped me drain the generator of gas and return the fuel to a holding tank, as well as helped me get the wife some gas in her car in a pinch.
