I do wood working a unheated attached garage 20'x24', this item works fine for my 2 car garage, heats up quickly to take chill off. The control knob is located on the rear of the unit, if was located in front would be easier to adjust and see the heat # setting but is only a minor item. The Small size and cord wrapping around handle makes storage easy. I live in western Washington so the winter temp is fairly mild, cooler climate is a question. 5 star if knob on front
