We absolutely love this heater. It does not take up a lot of room and heats up our entire apartment. I also like the fact that it is built within a wooden case and is not too much of an eye sore in the living room. Saves us a ton on our utility bill and I also love the digital display. For the price, you cant find a better heater.

I bought this for two main reasons, the first to save energy and the second because the infrared technology is supposed to not dry out/dehydrate the room. It's too early to comment on lower energy bills but the room heats faster than it did with my smaller ceramic heater so Im guessing it's costing less. As for the room not being dried out with infrared heating that seems to be a mostly bogus claim, at least with this model.

PROSs:

*Real wood, solid build and looks very nice for a space heater.

*Comes with a remote control and that is very nice for control from across the room.

*Heats the room (15' x 18') fast even on lower setting.

*Has a safety feature that turns if off if tipped.

CONS:

*Fan is not quiet as it should be for sleep.

*Infrared heater will still dry out the room, despite the claims otherwise.

*Requires a dedicated plug and no extension cords allowed, (safety issue) yet power cord is only 6' long.

*Temp sensor seems to be off as I can set it for 69 F and it's still blowing heat after I'm too hot as if it thinks the room is still cold.

I'm still amazed at how fast this little guy heats up my office area (10x24), it's quiet and does what they told me it would do.
