This is the second Zojirushi boiler I've owned. The first one was on day & night for 10 years so I wasn't the least bit concerned about replacing it with the same brand and similar model. I first saw one of these while visiting friends in Hong Kong -everyone there keeps one on their counter for instant hot water for tea or soup. I'll update this in a couple months, when I've moved to a house at 1,600' elevation. The boiler is supposed to still work fine there. Doing good right now too !November update
Well, it's mothballed for the winter, not enough sun for heavy electrical loads, 800w for 30 minutes, and then the standby heater, needs too much generator runtime. Just had 9 days of clouds, and now another storm on the way.
