I got this to help move the air conditioning around the hours. It moves air ok with the two fans and i like the way it has different positions for each fan but the fans themselves are a little weak. Its a good product but I would wait for it to come down a little from the $50+ i paid for it.

I have purchased MECO grills over the years [since the early-'80s] and have been a satisfied customer. I like the features of the grill, and have accepted the reality that the product is not as robust as Weber, but the value has always offset the relative cost issue. I just purchased a new 4106 in late June and was quite disappointed. No longer is the hood pre-assembled to the bowl with rivets, requiring no assemby by the owner, but [as noted in by another commenter] the proper locknuts required to assemble the entire grill were missing; in there place square non-locking nuts, which if utilized as direct substitute would have left a shaky grill forever. I contacted MECO and a very pleasant lady told me that was how the company was was shipping the units now, and she did not know why. But, she did happily ship the locknuts necessary, and a week later, I was able to finally assemble the grill in its entirety. Had I needed the grill immediately, I could have purchased the locknuts for 'chump-change' at my local mega-hardware store, but I did not. My final observation regarding my new grill, in addition to the above, as I compare its 'heft' to my old grill which I have not trashed as yet, it appears the gauge of the metal in both the hood & bowl is less. I suspect the robustness of this grill will not meet that of old one. Note: the only reason I'm replacing the old grill is that for the first time ever with any MECO grill I've owned, the bottom of the bowl has corroded so badly that I'm afraid it might collapse through while grilling. I prefer not to test my theory any longer.

Having said all that: as stated earlier, I do enjoy using my MECO grill as the features are to my liking. I wish the quality was the same. This will be my last MECO.....hope it lasts.....Meco Series 4100 Model 4106 Square Utility Charcoal Grill, Red

I looked over many sets on-line and I chose this one based on looks and certainly on the weight of the set. If you look at the other sets, most of them weigh much less; some even one-half of what this weighs. My last set was much cheaper and it showed after time.... the shovel could bend at the shovel end, etc. I was concerned buying a tool set on line without seeing and feeling it. The heater is all that it said it would be, the only problem I had was it was set for propane gas and after it was connected to a natural gasline, it was malfunctioning but was not obvious why. I stumbled on the fact it was set for propane, I had to remove it from the wall and open the back to find this out but after I set it to natural gas, it worked great.

I bought one of these about a year ago and it died about one month ago. So I ordered a new one just like the old one, so I wouldn't have to change the gas lines to hook it up. Well that worked great, but this unit only worked for about 30 minutes and stopped working all together. All I can say is this is more Chinese junk, where these company's do not care about quality only about quantity.

This blanket is a decent size to go across your lap or shoulders. There is a button to use for your shoulders to keep it on. It has two USB ports, one for low and two for high. However, low doesn't seem to work too well and two gets is warm, but not very much. Its okay if you don't want something too hot, so it works for me.

The blanket does not really get warm. It is barely warmer than a conventional blanket -and sometimes I think that the warmth is only in my imagination. The USB cord is not very long, even with an extension. Every time I move my chair it pulls and I have to disentangle it many times a day. It is pretty with a fluffy cover (navy) and the size is nice.

I manage a few single-family properties and used Insinkerators on some of the units since the early 1980s. The early units had stainless tanks and will last anywhere from 5 to 8 years pretty good. The later units went cheap, using plastic tanks and usually crack within 2 years not that good. This unit in review has the SST tank, suppose to be stainless steal tank again for reliability. However I found it only lasted under 2 years, failing to dispense any hot or even warm water. The units I use within the last 10 years only lasted around 2 years on average. Many times it turn out to be a blown fuse, a few times between a bad tank or worn out on mechanical dispensing faucet parts. To save the fuse, don't turn up the temperature on the tank to maximum. I throw in a budget to replace it every 3 years, as it's not cost effective to call in service after the warranty period. Reliability experience on my own home use is about 2 years as well. I don't have enough hot dispensing units installed to have it statistically reliable, this is just my own experience.

Very nice when it works, could have been more reliable.

This is my fourth ISE Hot Water Dispenser. The first three lasted anywhere from 2 4 years each, before the tanks started leaking and the units had to be replaced. In addition to the tank problem the first two units had failures with an internal thermal switch. It's about a $15 part that was fairly easy to replace if you are somewhat handy with tools and are not afraid of working with electrical components. On my third unit, the hot water tank was redesigned to include a different type thermal switch that was re-settable, like a circuit breaker. That successfully eliminated the thermal switch problem. It seems that the design of the tank for this appliance is continuously evolving. My first unit had a copper tank, the next two had plastic tanks, which I hated, and now this one has a larger (2/3 gallon) stainless steel tank. Seems like a move in the right direction. Installation was easy. I've set the external thermostat (a nice addition) to 190 degrees and it heats the water to that temperature without any spatter. I've verified the water temperature with a digital thermometer. On the previous units I would get spatter at 180 degrees. Since I've only had this unit for a month, I can't predict if it's going to be more reliable then the previous collection I had, but so far it has performed flawlessly. I would like to add that even with the problems that I have experienced with the ISE hot water dispensers, for me it is a very useful appliance, and one that I do not hesitate replacing when it gets to a point where repair is simply not an option.

This is a replacement for an older model H990 unit that was dying after 10 years of use. The upper portion of the unit is identical, but the undersink heater unit appears to be made of plastic, not metal, like the previous model (which had a copper tank enclosed in styrofoam enclosed in sheet metal). Notably, the other unit ran silent but this model--which you think would be an improvement--makes a very noticeable "roaring" sound when heating the water, audible over a low TV or conversation even from under the sink. Also, the water out of the tap is about 30 degrees cooler (170 vs. 200) at the "factory preset" thermostat setting. Product description on Amazon is confusing and contradictory: is it a 1 yr or 3 yr warranty? 120 or 115 volts? 2/3 gallon or 1/2 gallon tank? It gets the job done, but it's the little things like this that give the impression of diminishing quality from the InSinkErator brand, and at this price point you expect more.

I needed to replace a previous InSinkErator H990 instant hot water dispenser installed in our kitchen sink. I was not pleased that the prior model had failed in about three years time but decided to replace it with the newer model from InSinkErator. I was impressed with the design change that replaced a formerly plastic heating tank with a much more durable stainless steel tank. Also, I liked being able to keep the old faucet component and still hook up the new tank. The backward compatibility was a nice touch and can save installation time. I also like the new temperature setting large knob which replaced the old metal cover hiding the temperature adjustment.

Don't set the temperature too high or there is a lot of spitting and girgling at the end of each heating cycle.

The installation had no surprises and I was delighted enough to buy the same unit for my daughter and her husband and installed it over Thanksgiving holiday up in Boise. The unit is ideal for making single cups of tea or getting a head start on boiling water on the stove. The new larger tank 1/2 gallon vs. 1/3 allows more cups to be drawn in a short period of time.

We bought this Tiger Water boiler on December 11, 2010 and after 2 years + , it's still working fine. Because of the constant boiling of water, mineral deposit tends to materialize at the bottom so we have to make a point of cleaning it every 2 months or so. Just be careful when you clean and make sure the top of the unit is removed because you don't want water to get into the electronics portion of the boiler.

With any luck, this unit will last me another 2 years :)

We have been using this water heater for years and buy a new one from time to time as we use one for heating food as well as another for water. The one we use for food has to be replaced from time to time. This time, when new, it smelled of some chemical much stronger and longer than usual. The teflon interior generally smells a little for a while when new; this time it lasted longer and the water tastes strange as a result. I would have returned it but it was past the one month deadline when we started using it and realised the funny smell and taste. Otherwise an excellent product. I will order another one and try it as soon as it arrives to see if the problem was a on-off or not.

I have a similar product that I have used for years. It works well. This item did not close properly so the water continually evaporated. If you were not familiar with this type of product you might think that there was no problem because the cover looked like it was closed well. Also, the water was evaporating but slowly so it was not that obvious that there should be a few inches more water in the hot pot than there was. Very disappointing.

I actually bought two of these about a decade ago. It is really easy to use and very convenient. I really no longer use a tea kettle to boil water for my tea, hot chocolate, coffee, or cup noodles any more. The only complaint, if I can even call it that, is that this one doesn't hold a lot of water, so in a fairly large family or with people who consume hot beverages round the clock, it requires diligent refill responsibilities. Even then it takes about 10 to reboil the new water, so the wait time isn't terribly long.

I think Tiger products are on the pricier side because of its durability and simplicity. There is basically ONE GIANT button to operate it. It isn't top heavy so I've never encounter a tip-over situation with it. It also has a safety lock/unlock mechanism. When cleaning the dispenser, the cord detaches therefore it doesn't get in the way. (However, since it swivels sometimes the cord will detach and if it goes unnoticed, your water would obviously cool down.)

With care, this product would last a long time. It is plugged in 24/7 of 365 days a year and refilled 2-3 times daily in my house. Like I've noted, I bought both a decade ago and only now is the rubber gasket starting to deteriorate. I've just sent in a request to Tiger Corp. for a replacement, and it is also the first time attempting contact with the corporation, so I don't know how customer service with the company goes. However, with most Tiger products, I know there is a 1 yr warranty that comes with the purchase (at no addt'l cost).

Just a little tip, as with any water boiler, if you have hard tap water, try not to use that in the boiler as it will start to build up calcium deposits from the water source. 98% of the time, our boilers are filled with drinking water.

I have owned two of these dehumidifiers, and both failed in less than 18 months due to leakage of the refrigerant. In both cases, the refrigerant loss was due to excessive corrosion of the evaporator coil. (Who would have thought a dehumidifier would be exposed to moisture?)

Haier warranty support was not able to address the issue in any way. In my professional opinion, this humidifier was not designed to last more than two years. I will not buy another Haier product.

My Haier dehumidifier was a problem from the start. The energy saving function worked too well: the device refused to run for more than about 1 minute. Despite the high moisture levels in our basement (despite growing mold on the furniture!), our dehumidifier refused to run properly. Haier devices have created a huge problem for my wife and I. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service department has also been disappointing to work with. Overall, I would recommend going with a different dehumidifier--any company but Haier!

My house is a small one, about 800 square feet of space. I live in upstate New York, just east of Lake Ontario, and when it's not snowing off the lake, it's cold, just the same. Winters are usually not mild ones. My house is set to be heated with electric baseboard heat, and I have a Timberline fireplace insert that will heat the whole house should I want to use wood. About six years ago, I bought a 1500 watt Sun Cloud zone heater, which is rated for up to 800 square feet of space. It is thermostat controlled and uses four 375 watt infrared bulbs to provide the heat. The bulbs heat many flagella like tubes through which the heated air is blown and out into the room. It looks much like every other similar heater being sold these days, but the inner shell is metal and the outer shell is wood (oak, cherry or mahogany). What makes this heater so much better than other designs is that you don't have to send it back to the manufacturer for repairs. Anything that might go wrong can easily be fixed locally if necessary. The bulbs can be found at your local electric store, and so can the thermostat or blower. Parts are simple, not complex, and your local handyman can repair it easily! I have been using this heater for all the cold months that I have owned it, and if the outside temperature stays about 30 degrees, the house never gets chilly. Anything below 30 degrees will drop the temp to say 67 degrees, but I just augment the house temp with my baseboard heat and everything is toasty. Since the unit is thermostatically controlled, it cycles on and off as necessary, but even if it ran all night and day, it would only use 1.5 kilowatt/hours of electricity per hour, times 24 hours which equals 36 kilowatt hours of electricity per day! Multiply that by your local electricity rate (say 10 cents per kilowatt hour of usage), and you can readily see that it cannot cost more to use than $3.60 per day! As I said, the thermostat allows it to cycle on and off, so for most people, it will cost less than $3.60 per day to use. I am so happy with my unit that I bought two more units to augment my mother's home, which has more than double the floor space that my home has. She heats with oil and uses from 3 to 5 gallons per day in the winter months. With oil prices soaring, she should save money using Sun Cloud.

I purchased this heater to supplement the heat from my furnace. So far it has been great. I don't know yet how it will effect my gas & electric bill but judging by how infrequently my furnace kicks on it should do wonders for my gas bill. It's quiet, I hardly even notice it's on. Just like they advertise, the outside doesn't get too hot to touch. It looks great in my living room, like just another piece of furniture. I definitely made a good decision buying this.
