Discount Wick Cleaner Honey Suckle Scented
I use this exact honeysuckle additive. These additives are a must for deodorant and clean burning of Kerosene, especially in homes. However with high-efficancy kerosene heaters the sents do not come through to notice a difference.

I have had this heater for 2 months. It works so well I bought another infrared heater for my mother (hers is an EdenPure). I love the air purifier, my allergies have gotten much better. And I REALLY love the warmth in my living room because of this heater. I have a PGE Smart Meter which means I can check my electricity usage every day. Our electric usage has gone up about $1.20 a day or about $36 a month using the infrared every day at medium heat. But our propane usage has gone down about $100 a month, that means I am saving around 60-70 dollars a month. And, while I am saving money, I am warm and toasty, something I never was before! Try INFRARED heat, people. Don't let the naysayers change your mind before you try it. There are less expensive infrared heaters out there, just try one before you say no! Just remember, this is directional heat and different locations will change the warmth that you will feel.

Takes a long time to heat a room. Thermostat is not functional as it has to be set at 75 in order to heat a room to 67 degrees. When set at 75 it shuts down when 67 is reached. Left phone & email messages with company & no response. Will return the 2 that I purchased.Best Deals for American Comfort Titanium Heater
We bought one for the greenhouse so when temps dip the tomatoes/pepper will not freeze. This keeps the temps up above freezing great. That fan is whisper quiet especially compared to the older units. Not a huge price for running the product compared to the cost and hassle of kerosene. The instructions could have been clearer. This does seem to be a cost effective way to combat the cold but in my case electricity is essential. Bought ours from Costco for $200, online.Honest reviews on American Comfort Titanium Heater
I simply love this heater. I have not had the problem with customer service that the other person has related. Mine works fantastic. It heats up the one room we have it in in minutes. The beautiful thing I like about this heater is it is not drafty. My other heaters create a draft in the room so I prefer to not use them. Works fantastic. It is pricey but worth the price.Thursday, November 13, 2014

I have owned a few of these hot air fan heaters and this is by far the best. I have a large apartment with about a 12' high ceiling and I can notice the "vornado action" moving a feather hanging from a dreamcatcher at the corner of the ceiling with the fan sitting on the middle opposite side of the floor. This shows me that the fan is truely pumping the air around as it is heating and it is not just a gimmick or false claim. Other fans I have had did not do this and took like an hour to heat the room. The Vornado takes the chill out of the room within 15 minutes and is nice and warm reaching thermostat temperature by 30 minutes (most of the time depending on how cold it is.) What's even more impressive is that it is also so quiet I don't even know it's on sometimes!
However, since nothing is perfect here are a some design suggestions for the manufacturers:
1) The Sony remote problem is true, I have the same problem but thankfully my bed blocks my TV remote's "line of fire" so it rarely turns down the heater but it has on several ocassions--Vornado should have picked a more obscure signal to use for the remote.
2) The remote needs to be more ergonomic so it's easy to hold and there should be indentations on the buttons so that you know what to press when fumbing in the dark--as it is now it's too small and impossible to tell if you're even holding it in the right direction.
3) The fan is so quiet it would be nice if the red "on" light would actually turn green so that you know it's on.
4) The blue LCD display is way too bright--it's like having 2 nightlights on in the room...very annoying and I wish it was darker since there is no need for it to be so bright (I'd put black tape over it but then can't see the temperature).
Overall though, only buy this if you are truely a design freak, it is beautiful and the quality of the metal housing is well worth the price if you are willing to drop that much money on a heater to just look stylish.
In terms of function though you can get the exact same results by buying the much cheaper (about half price) original Vornado without the remote. A friend of mine has this original Vornado which is what inspired me to buy mine. There is also a "clone" type heater competing with the original Vornado made by Holmes and I suspect the performance of that one is going to be very comparable and also a bit less expensive. Hope this helps you decide!
The LCD light on the top is also very bright and annoying it never turns off.

We purchased the Vornado Touch Stone Vortex Heat 500 about a month ago. We have a room that is consistently colder than the other rooms in the house. We don't understand WHY it is colder since it was an addition, attached to the main central air /forced air heating unit, is actually BETTER insulated with more up-to-date windows, but is about 6 degrees colder (warmer in the summer) than any other room in the house. I plugged the Vornado in and the room is actually WARM! I am very impressed with this little, very quiet... you can't hardly tell it is running!... machine. I would definately recommend it to anyone that has this problem. We DO have a Sony TV/Remote, but the TV is in another room and doesn't affect the use of the machine. Actually, I leave ours on all the time and don't even need the remote. If this is the case I would go with the pp suggestion with getting the version without the remote. Had I realized that it was just as powerful I would have saved a few dollars and gone with the remoteless one for our use. HIGHLY recommend this item. I am very pleasantly surprised at how well this little unit works.Best Deals for Vornado TVH500 Whole Room Vortex Heater
We have been using this heater for about 5 months now in our infant daughter's room. Up until last night, the product was fine. Last night we could smell a burning smell from outside of her room coming from the heater! The heater has never been moved and is always set to the same temperature so we are not sure what happened. Needless to say, this was extremely scary and we won't be using it anymore! All reviews I've read for the product are generally good so perhaps this is a fluke. The LCD light on the top is also very bright and annoying it never turns off.

Update 2 months after bought it it broke, the fan intermittently stops running & the heat stays on so it starts burning itself up, it filled the room with strong burning smell/smoke. NOT safe.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Vornado TVH500 Whole Room Vortex Heater
I bought the Touchstone for my home office. It's a decent space to heat but I wanted to heat only that space rather then heating my whole house. The Vornado does the job. It produces a good amount of heat fairly quickly. The room gets comfortably warm in a matter of minutes. Perhaps about 10 minutes for a 10X12 room with a 8' ceiling. The heater is pretty quiet, I know it's there but it is not enough to disturb me while I am working. The remote and digital display are kind of unnecessary. In retrospect I would have bought a unit that does not have those features, if I could save money. This unit is pretty pricey. It works well, does the job but, is $$$.Monday, October 13, 2014
RoadPro 12-Volt 20oz. Smart Car Pot Reviews
Just got this little 12v. pot for heating water, soup, etc. and didn't expect much since I had a recent bad experience with a 12v. coffee maker that, after waiting over an hour for something to happen, didn't work at all. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! This litle unit is well-made and has some very nice features, such as being able to remove the pot from the base for easy cleaning. I also like the fact that, as well as an "on" light, the pot lights up with a white light to let you know that it is seated correctly on the base. It also has a nice safety feature in that it will shut off if there's not enough water, so it won't "burn dry." Best thing, though, is that it really does work! It does take longer with 12v. units, but that's to be expected. However, in less than half an hour the water was bubbling merrily away! I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.
only gave it one star because i had to before i could enter my review. actually rating would be zero stars!

I purchased this unit as my wife and I love the "coffee on the go" mode and figured to save a few bucks in the long run on the expensive Convenience Store drinks. So far, and that includes three vehicles, we have blown the fuse every time that we plug the RoadPro into the cigarette lighter. I am approaching half the cost of the unit in replaced fuses. I'm not saying that the unit will not work, in fact I believe that it will do what it claims if you can get the proper power to it. For many vehicles, it will require a heavier wire to be routed from the battery to a seperate 12 volt outlet. This takes the convenience away and adding new wiring to the vehicle adds cost to the use of the RoadPro.Best Deals for RoadPro 12-Volt 20oz. Smart Car Pot
Being an over-the-road driver I carried one of these for awhile in order to make coffee and hot cereal. It actually heats pretty well, and is a much better product than the previous one I had. However after about 3 months of 3-4 times a week use, it started to leak through the base and into the heating element. After that it quit completely. As this happened with 2 of these in a row, I tend to believe it's a design flaw. For occasional use, it's probably well worth it, but if you use it regularly, expect to replace it every couple of months.Honest reviews on RoadPro 12-Volt 20oz. Smart Car Pot
very sad that this product did not work at all. when plugged in to car, with car on (followed all the instructions) it lit up but never heated the water at all. tried different cars, waited 20 minutes, NEVER WORKED! sent it back for refund. i will say amazon has a very easy return procedure and i did appreciate that.only gave it one star because i had to before i could enter my review. actually rating would be zero stars!

What a treat to have hot tea or instant coffee on long road trips. Holds enough for 2 cups of your favorite brew. Takes about 15 minutes for hot water, 20 minutes to boil. Very handy.Tuesday, October 7, 2014
Cheap Cozy-Heater 250 Watt Electrical Wall Mounted Convective Heater
I needed it to just take the edge off at room the most efficient way with electric heat. It did the job perfect at very low wattage. We bought this cozy heater for our converted school bus/ camper. I think it might take a bit too much juice but we have it plugged in for the winter in conjunction with another small heater to keep the bus dry.

Buy Portable Gas Heater, LP, 32000 BtuH
The heater works well. However it arrived with a dent in the frame. That dent was not from being banged in the box the box showed no signs or damage. It looked like a factory problem. Just unfortunate it looks bad with this dent.

Review of Water Heater Flushing Tool
Made a mistake and let another camper borrow my last one and never got it back. Purchased another brand and it broke after second use. Was happy to find the replacement for the first one that got away that had lasted for 7 years of almost continuous use as I helped many elderly RV people service their water heaters. Great help in getting sediments out of your tank.

Had the rotten egg smell going on in my water heater and wanted to flush it out. This tool worked excellent and I couldn't believe the chunks of crud that came out of it. Highly recommended.Best Deals for Water Heater Flushing Tool
I was able to flush my popup's hot water heater in the garage without hardly any mess. The adjustment valve on this really worked well (to my surprise!). This was first time I had flushed the tank after 3 years, so my anode was nearly all gone. I'll do this each year now that I have this great tool.Honest reviews on Water Heater Flushing Tool
Did a great job of flushing out the heater. I had no idea there was that much dirt and build up in the heater
