I have a Dimplex 7.5KW garage heater, and this switch lets you bypass the heating elements so that you can use the heater as a fan in the warm weather.
The heater had cutouts and mounting space available for the unit, so installation only took a few minutes. It wires right in following the schematic on the underside of the heater...all in all, a neat looking installation.
Only complaint is that it seems to me this should be a standard built-in part of the heater, not something that you have to pay extra for. Otherwise, it does the job and transforms your garage/workshop heater into something usable year-round.

Best Soleus Air # HC7-15-01 Ceramic Tower Heater, 750W/1500Watts, White Deals
I've had this unit for a year. It remains fully functional and very useful as a room heater. I've dropped it a couple of times and no problems. I like the safety mechanism whereby it shuts off if not sitting on a flat surface; I'd rather not start any fires. The grill covering the heating element has small holes and therefore appears secure as far as not letting anything fly inside to cause a fire. I am not able to see any hot-red heating elements, unlike in some space heaters, which adds to the impression of safety. The heater has two warmth settings, and I mostly use the higher one and very rarely the cooler one. It also has a fan-only setting where no heat is imparted. The tall shape helps distribute the heat more evenly, I believe, as does the fact that it rotates. I rarely use the rotating function because I don't think it adds much to distributing the heat, but I don't really know since I rarely use this function. The unit is also very quiet.
PROS:
Price.
Durability.
Safety mechanisms.
Linear standing shape helps distribute heat and takes up only a small footprint for storage in a corner of your closet.
Quiet.
CONS:
The Low and Fan-only settings provide little added value.
I picked this up by chance one day when I was in a supermarket and saw it marked down. As I was in need of a space heater, I decided to buy it. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out and was going to return it if it didn't work out. This unit has worked out well for me for the price.

I ordered this product specifically because it was labeled as being 'quiet'. When it arrived (on time) it was smaller than expected although when I plugged it in and fired it up it was putting out a surprising amount of heat rather quickly. The BIG problem was the rattling noise. It sound like the casing was never connected properly to the internals and it does rattle. Okay for some, annoying for me. Don't know if I will be able to sleep with it on. One really cool feature on it is the anti tip device which is just a button on the bottom of the base on the floor side that has to be depressed by the units weight in order for it to work. All in all, heats well, annoying sound.Best Deals for Soleus Air # HC7-15-01 Ceramic Tower Heater, 750W/1500Watts, White
This heater works as expected and takes up vey little space. The staff member I brought it for needs it to keep a leg-brace warm because the limb does not receive proper circulation. She has not complained.Honest reviews on Soleus Air # HC7-15-01 Ceramic Tower Heater, 750W/1500Watts, White
I got this heater for my dorm at school. The room is probably about 15x15 (I'm really not sure but its big enough for four guys) and it definitely makes a difference in the temperature of the room. It can be somewhat weak when you are using it to blow heat directly on you as a fan but i had a really small desk fan i put behind it to generate more air so i don't have that problem really. I would recommend this heater, i like the swivel feature and the whole lack of thermostat isn't a big deal. Put it on high and you are good if its cold. I put 4 stars just because it isn't perfect but it will get the job done. A more expensive heater i didn't have the extra cash for would get 5 stars.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Soleus Air # HC7-15-01 Ceramic Tower Heater, 750W/1500Watts, White
Soleus Air # HC7-15-01 does NOT have a thermostat. The description in Amazon says it does and that is wrong. The cost to ship this back is too high, so we will keep this unit for use in our barn work area. It's a shame that we have to keep a product that was described wrong. The unit looks like it would be great if it had a thermostat as described.Friday, August 15, 2014
Best Klimaire 9,000 Btu 19 SEER, Energy Satar, Ductless Mini Split Deals
I recently built a new backyard workshop and needed an A/C unit for the Texas heat. I could have just put in a window unit; but, I wanted something that was more efficient, quieter, and that didn't block my single window.
After some research, I opted to go with this Klimaire unit since it had the features I was looking for and is also geared more toward installing it yourself than the competing models are.
Anyway, here are the things I like about the Klimaire Mini-Split:
1) It really was pretty easy to install. I'll talk about this more in a bit; but, there are several videos online and the unit comes with pretty much everything you need.
2) It has A/C, Heat, dehumidifier, and fan settings. That covers pretty much anything I could want.
3) It is EXTREMELY quiet! Both the inside and outside units are barely audible, which makes it a lot more enjoyable.
4) The remote can be mounted to a wall and works great.
5) It is very efficient at 19 SEER. This shouldn't cost much to run at all.
6) It looks great and is very simple to operate.
Even though I am loving the unit overall, there is one irritating problem that I've run into. When the unit is on A/C mode, the fan will switch between levels 1, 2, & 3 it never turns completely off. That makes me feel bad leaving it on when I'm not out there (the building is extremely well insulated using foam). The dehumidifier setting does the same thing.
Fortunately, the Auto mode lets the fan turn completely off; but, it tries to keep the temperature in the room at an 'exact' level. So, in the summer, if you have the unit set at 78 degrees, it will run the A/C until the building cools down and can actually switch to the heater if the temp goes just a little low. It's crazy to be wasting energy running the heater in the Texas heat! The auto mode would be MUCH better if it would focus on a range rather than an exact temp. For example, if the A/C would turn on when the temp gets above 78, but the heater turns on when the temp gets below 65.
Anyway, that's something I can live with but it's still irritating.
As far as the install goes, the hardest part was running the electrical out to the building in the first place. I'd never done anything with 220 volt before, so it was a learning experience and took me a couple of days. Although, to be fair, I had to run electrical out there anyway. This unit requires a 220 volt, 30-Amp power supply.
Once the power was connected from my new sub-panel to the A/C disconnect, I basically followed these steps:
1) Put a couple of 18"x18" concrete pavers where I wanted the exterior unit and bolted it down.
2) Mounted the bracket for the interior unit to the wall.
3) Drilled a 3" hole in the wall where I wanted the pipes to go through. NOTE: The instructions call for a 3" hole, but I actually wish I had gone a bit smaller. Be sure to look at the conduit they provide for going through the wall, since that is actually closer to 2". I ended up filling around the conduit with Great Stuff gap filler.
4) Wired the provided electrical cable to the inside unit.
5) Ran both copper pipes, the drain pipe, and the electrical wire out of the building through the hole that was drilled in step #3.
6) Hooked everything up to the exterior unit.
7) Wired the exterior unit to the A/C disconnect using wire that I had leftover from wiring the building. I ran the wire through some 1/2" LiquidTite flexible conduit that I also had leftover, and that I had purchased from Home Depot.
8) I opened the lower valve and briefly pressed the discharge button on the upper valve 4 times to get the air out of the system. This process is shown on some of the online videos.)
9) At this point, I just wrapped up the pipes, made everything look good, and turned it on. :)
Overall, if you're looking for a highly efficient, and quiet A/C & heater solution this is a great choice! I would definitely recommend it, even with the irriating "Auto-Mode" issue.
Installed myself, but I'm no stranger to mechanical stuff. I think an installation of this sort for a newbie would be a challenge since there's so many disciplines involved. The biggest challenge is working with the supplied lineset and making sure you don't damage it or run short since you don't want to modify the length. Careful planning always pays off here. After the typical hookup, I vacuumed the lines for about two hours on both units, opened the liquid line a bit to charge the vacuumed lines and evap up to atmospheric pressure, opened both packing valves and buttoned everything up.
At this point checked for leaks with a leak detector solution and found I had leaks on three out of four connections. Some serious tightening solved those problems and I'd say that was the most surprising, it takes more than you'd think it would. I worked with a plumber for several years as a young pup and the answer to "how tight should this be?" was "till it stops leaking."
After flipping the breaker on the disconnects I started each system and have simply been amazed at how quiet and seemingly efficient these units are. I think you could run them both on power from a hamster in a wheel. Matter of fact, I did connect both of these units to my gen-set so we'll have cooling in those two rooms when the storm hits. Less than 4 amps on the small unit and 7 on the large unit. Amazing.
My thoughts on reviews. Anyone that is considering making a large purchase such as these will do some research and inevitably run across negative reviews and there are those here as well. But, any company that is putting forth the effort to bring items like this to market is not doing it to fail. Sure there are issues and problems that can and do arise, but that's from any company, with any product. More often than not problems stem from a language barrier, and this is where patience, compassion and persistence will help solve most problems. If you're looking for trouble, you'll probably find it. Those with a bad experience will rush to warn while those with a good experience will simply enjoy and move on so one needs to see all reviews in that context.
Of course most AC guys in the states hate messing with something they did not sell you, or something they are not familiar with. Most everyone is biased in one way or another. Knowing that and wanting to learn something new can make a project such as this rewarding if you do it yourself. Of course it's all at risk, and they'll be no shortage of people with a God complex to warn you of that fact.
All in all, I'd say that if you're a good car mechanic and know your way around the construction of a house and have an understanding of home wiring beyond the basics, you'll be happy.
Of course, mine could fail tomorrow.
Feel free to write me with any questions and I'll try to help.
All the best, Don
I found a discrepancy in the breaker size in the directions and the outside unit. I went with the 20 amp breaker stated on the actual unit, not the generic directions.
I did have to go out and purchase a vacuum pump, a set of gauges and an adapter for the gauges to hook up to the 410a refrigerant line. This required adapter is not included. Some people choose not to do this step and just purge it. I can't see how the moisture can be eliminated from the line set by skipping this step.
I put a kink in the low pressure line and decided to cut the section out and silver solder it.
Buy a bottle of leak detector from Home Depot or Lowe's to check the fittings. I really had to tighten down on the factory flair fittings to eliminate two almost undetectable leaks (so tight that I was afraid of breaking the line).
I did not change the length of the line set during the installation. This way I did not have to add or eliminate any of the refrigerant.
So far it is working great.
Save your time and money and spend it on a higher quality unit from a more reputable company.

Hey, Guys. I bought two units, the KSIM009-H219 and the KSIM018-H217. Research led me directly to the Klimaire distributor in Miami (I'm in Jacksonville) where they responded to my call for info. I bought directly from the dist where they cut me a break on the shipping for the two. Ordered on Thursday, they shipped on Monday SAIA freight and arrived in Jacksonville the next day where I picked them up at the terminal. Packaging was spot on, no issues.Installed myself, but I'm no stranger to mechanical stuff. This unit worked great for 2 months and then problem after problem. This is made by klimaire and the air stopped blowing and then problems with remote...NOW ITS DEAD. I, like one of the other reviewers installed it in a workshop that I built in Texas. I have installed central air in the past, but it has been quite a few years. The biggest issue that I had was that the directions could have been worded better. I recommend that if you choose to install it yourself, watch a few installation videos on-line. This helps clarify a few issues that I came across with their directions. They do not have to be the same brand to understand the concept. There is an LG split system video (tips and how to) on You-Tube.I found a discrepancy in the breaker size in the directions and the outside unit. I went with the 20 amp breaker stated on the actual unit, not the generic directions.

First when the product was delivered, the box was damaged and the outside unit was dented. I made the mistake of accepting the order. We contacted Heat and Cool, and got no help from them . I kept the unit and got it installed. At first, it worked great. We used it all through the last winter without an issue. When it got to summer -it wouldn't give off cool air. The fan worked, but there wasn't any cool air coming out (only room temperature). Ugh! Now we're getting into winter, and it won't heat. Also the fan won't go above low when we use the heat setting. I'm not sure how much more money I should dump into this lemon -or start looking for something else.Save your time and money and spend it on a higher quality unit from a more reputable company.

Redcore S2 IR Stove Heater Reviews
I have a 900+ sq foot basement with 8 ft ceilings. I've had this heater for about a week. I am absolutely amazed at how comfortable and warm the entire space is now. It's in the low thirties outside, and my entire basement with the new heater is in the low seventies, a good 10+ degrees higher than before. The unit is very quiet, clicks once in a while to regulate temps. So easy to use and set up. I'm just so happy that I actually WANT to go down to the basement now and hang out WITHOUT my scarf. The flame is very realistic my son and his friend thought this heater was a real wood stove. The box says pennies a day to operate, I hope that's true. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product it will improve your quality of life.
The only down side I had to buy a wine cooler so my wines won't go bad because of the higher temperatures. :)

This Stove packs a punch! It heats my 1200 sq. ft. Apartment great! Plus it looks very realistic! I have other family members who have eden pure infrared heaters, that work just as good, but don't look as good as this one. I love that all the controls are behind the door, so little one's cant mess with them. Very quality construction. The only thing I don't like, is the temperature control, it doesn't tell what temp it's set at, so I have to guess where to set it, but I can live with that one flaw, since it looks so good!Best Deals for Redcore S2 IR Stove Heater
Got this for my garage to use in the winter I turned it on and BAMM!!! heat that warmed the area so well and it looks really cool, the flame control and light control are nothing but to entertain you but its great to look it and its not all plastic, the outside is a metal, only the legs are plastic. I hate that it is a "American" looking stove but made in China but its really nice 5 stars from me. I had been looking at some other styles but this one really caught my eye and I was not disappointed at all.Honest reviews on Redcore S2 IR Stove Heater
Got unit, put it in an 8X10 bedroom with door closed to heat for guests. Was on for an hour, using high button and thermostat turned up full throttle, absolutely NO change in temp. Has nice flames but didn't change room temp at all. Very disappointed. Got out small bathroom heater, the portable types. In 15 mins, the room was warmed. I have two other electric stoves, one purchased on amazon...an electrolog which isn't made anymore evidently, but it still works great. And also a plow and hearth brand small capacity that is charming. Thought an infrared would be a great new choice. Very disappointed as I am out shipping to get it here and probably to send it back. Awaiting response from vendor, but would highly recommend that you seek other brand. Other reviewer must have one that isn't defective, I certainly got a dud. Shipping back rate made no sense to return as price more than double that of original shipping paid to receive, vendor return address where return would be made they use different warehouses than their locale, and if it wasn't deemed deflective, then a restocking rate applies from vendor. Note to shoppers, read vendor guidelines carefully before purchasing from 3rd party vendor here.Wednesday, July 30, 2014
Mr. Heater MH25NG 25,000-BTU Natural-Gas Radiant Heater Review
I have used this in my garage for several years now, if I have my garage door closed it will warm the space pretty well. Directly under the heater its really nice and toasty, but the furthest corner of the garage will still be cold. In a 20-degree day with the garage door closed (I have a two-car garage with most of the garage walls NOT insulated), I get over 70 degrees directly under the heater (where I usually change the oil etc.) and at least 40 degrees at the coldest corner of the garage. Most of the garage becomes very comfortable to work in, that I usually don't even need to wear a jacket. BUT as soon as I open the garage door, I lose all the warm air and it takes a little while to heat the whole place back up. That being said, I typically also let it run for an hour or so before I start working on my car, just so I know the area is nicely heated.
Hope that helps. :)
I do have some complaints, which keeps me from giving this 5 stars.
1. Clearance is very important. When the burner ignites, I'm always alarmed because of the small ball of fire that the heater emits across the burner.
2. Because of the radiant heat nature, I have burned my hands while working under the heater, similar to getting a sunburn.
3. I've had problems with the pilot light going out. It is easily adjustable with a screwdriver, but is very sensitive and this was very annoying to fine-tune in the beginning. I still have to adjust it about once a year.
4. The garage always smells like natural gas.
This heater worked well in my situation, because I had natural gas stubbed into the garage when the house was under construction. Had I not done this, I would probably opt for an electric heater next time, and this means you need 220 volts. Depending on the size and type of heater, most also require some type of vent.
I would recommend this heater as it works as advertised for my 625 SF garage. However, I also recommend you explore other options first.
This isn't my first rodeo with this model. I bought one 6 years ago and worked with good success. No C.M. alarms....ever.
so when the original unit started emitting natural gas fumes, I was told my their tech support that it's almost cheaper to buy a new one. So I bought the exact same model recently.
When the new unit arrived, the valve assembly mount looked bent. Sure enough, it was burning extremely hot and out of control.
when the next replacement arrived, it looked fine. It also burned hotter than normal (flames over the top) and began emitting Carbon Monoxide.(set off my alarm)
Also the thermostat had to be set at 40 degrees to maintain 70 degrees.
Amazon has been very good about taking care of the problem with me. Hats off!
Mr. Heater on the other hand needs to not be so arrogant (based on my calls to tech support)and address their quality control problem!
Also, it does recommend you cut a "vent" in your wall above it and have an opening below it (like a window open a couple inches for ventilation.
I placed my unit so it casts the infra red heat right in the middle of the pool and has an effective floor area of about 18 by 18 feet when placed 15 feet above. Since the swimming pool is at the lowest level and cold air tends to settle to the lowest level this heater comes in very handy even when the water is heated and the furnace is blowing warm air. It also feels like the sun when you come out of the water even if you are wet. If you close your eyes you can almost imagine you were on a beach in Hawaii. I am thinking about buying another one for the deep end.
Hope that helps. :)

I purchased this heater about 2 years ago to keep my garage about the freezing level, principally to melt ice and snow from the cars, but also to provide a comfortable sleeping environment for my dog (and to keep his water from freezing). For this purpose, it works very well, and even keeps the snow melted from my snowthrower, which I keep on the opposite side of the garage. It was quite easy to install after getting all the proper fittings and hoses, which are not included.I do have some complaints, which keeps me from giving this 5 stars.

I have just gone through my 2nd unit with the same problem. My Carbon Monoxide alarm has been going off. Something with Mr. Heater's quality control or packaging is seriously wrong.

Bought this to heat an insulated,2 bay garage/shop. Not bad it you are directly under it, but five feet out and your out of it's line of fire. It you turn it on 30-60 min earlier, you will take the chill off. Should have gotten the next size up, this would be great for a single car garage. Overall, it beats not having a heater. Also, it does recommend you cut a "vent" in your wall above it and have an opening below it (like a window open a couple inches for ventilation.

I bought this for my indoor swimming pool. Even with the furnace heat you still need that extra warmth to make it feel like Miami Beach in NJ in January. I could not find a better looking heater and my only dislike is that this looks too much like a garage heater which it is. This unit comes with a thermostat and requires no electricity which would also be useful in the event of a power failure. I am still not sure how the thermostat manages to work without electricity.I placed my unit so it casts the infra red heat right in the middle of the pool and has an effective floor area of about 18 by 18 feet when placed 15 feet above.

This compact heater seemed ok for the first couple days then it started tripping the breaker. Not sure if defective but the company was really great about returning it. Also it didn't put out as much heat as I thought it would for my 14x 30'room.

The manufacturer lists this space heater as having a `whisper quiet operation' and `fan-forced for wide heat dispersion'. My experience has been that neither of these claims is true. My most important need is to find a quiet heater. It was quiet for the first few days but then it began to make a loud click when it turns on in the middle of the night, and unfortunately it wakes me up each time. It also takes quite a while to heat up my bedroom that has a size much smaller than a larger den or living room. In fairness, it does eventually reach the desired temperature however. Additionally, when I press some of the buttons on my TV remote, the heater also responds and reduces the desired temperature by 1 degree for each time pressed. This can be a problem when watching TV in the bedroom. I seldom give a severely poor rating to any product, but this time I must rate this one with only 1 star. Not only does it miss meeting my most important needs, it advertised that it DOES meet those needs. For that reason it receives the lowest possible rating. Note that I did return the heater and am now researching on Amazon for a replacement that is quiet and effective. I implore you to please learn from my mistake and do not purchase this space heater.Best Deals for Comfort Zone Infrared Quartz Heater - 3413 BTU, 1000 Watts, Model#
I purchased this heater in February 2012. It no longer works! I can't get my money back and there is no way to get it fixed. We have cleaned the filter as suggested and nothing. The thermostat never worked at all, but it did heat the room sufficient so we let it go. Now it won't do anything! I am so disappointed!!! Here's another thing we figured out. The remote frequency is on the same as our flat screen TV. It messed our TV volume up and made the sound go out over and over. I hate to tell this, but we sent back 2 different televisions thinking they were faulty because of this heater. I would love to have another(different brand of course) heater but were told by Amazon we weren't entitled to anything after 30 days. After using a smelly, non-ventilated gas firfeplace for years, I decided to give these a try. I bought 2, since at 1000 watts it is not going to heat our downstairs (kitchen/dining/living room)very fast, but after a week of use I am very pleased. Their mobility allows me to control the heating well (can bring both into the living room if my 2 small children are there to keep that very warm). Usually 3-4 hours of use of both in separate rooms(and closed windows)is enough to take the chill off. Very quiet, no smell and easy to move. I probably should have bought at least one of the 1500 watt units, but no problems at all with these units so far. Will likely get a 1500 watt unit soon.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Comfort Zone Infrared Quartz Heater - 3413 BTU, 1000 Watts, Model#
Second year using these heaters. Excellent in small rooms up to 150 sq ft. I don't use the remotes so can't comment on them. Lightweight and easy to move around. The timer is useful and auto shut off works well if it is tipped. Would buy again. In the third year and still going strong. Updated to 5 stars

Received the lamp It is beautiful worked great and then quit. Called the company they told me the fuse must have blown even thought I told them I went out and bought one they said it had to be their fuse So waited for it to come tried it didn't work Called them again they asked me what color was the light bulb and told them black and right away told me it was the bulb and they will send me a new one as soon as they get them in stock which by the way will be about a month The Customer Service department was great no trouble at all (except for the fuse item)willing to help I just hope winter isn't over before we get it working againAm returning this product because I did not see anywhere that you could not use it on a balcony until I read the booklet enclosed with the lamp. Bought it for my grandson who lives in an apartment and he does not have the space required to use this type of heater. Was disappointed because I was so glad to find an outside heater that looked so good.

This is virtually the identical unit for a 25+ year old unit I replaced. Bearings were going in the old one and since it wasn't cleaned regularly was pretty crudded up. Hence it was increasingly inefficient and noisy. I replaced as part an attic insulation project the new unit is IC rated and worked with my existing 15 Amp circuit somewhat rare for a vent/light/heater combo. Instructions were clear. At 50 CFM the vent is appropriate for a small bath. Reasonably quiet (of course we're comparing it to the old one that sounded like a model plane taking off). Heater will knock back some chill but isn't a real powerhouse nor is it directional like in more expensive models. Light will accept up to 100 watt bulb but we found 75 watt more than adequate. Grille and light diffuser are attractive and seem to promote better airflow than the old. Internal components (light, vent fan, and heater) are easily removable for annual cleaning.
Regarding the light feature, we already had lighting in our bathroom so we decided to put a small 7 watt nightlight bulb in the fixture. It works great for late night bathroom runs. No need to blind yourself with a bright light. The nightlight does the trick!
One suggestion if you are installing one of these in your bathroom, buy a timer switch for the fan function. We bought one with 10, 20, 30 minute options so I can hit the timer button and the fan will run for that amount of time, keeping the moisture down, and I don't have to try to remember to turn it off. I highly recommend considering this. I've read that it's good to have your bathroom fan run for 20+ minutes following a shower...so having the timer allows you to have it run for that amount of time and you don't have to worry about remembering to come back to the bathroom to turn it off.
Overall, we really like this fixture. The fan and heater do the job well. Also, we love the quietness and the option to use it as a nightlight.

If you need some extra light and a fan (who doesn't!) in your bathroom, the Broan 659 is a good choice. Sure, it's not whisper quiet but 2.5 sones is a perfect compromise. It's just the right amount of noise for, uh, some privacy while you're on the throne, but not enough to wake up the person sleeping in the adjacent wing of your castle. The heater takes away a bit of morning chill but it's not going to dry you off if you've forgotten to buy towels or anything. But don't worry. With the amount you'll save purchasing this fan you'll be able to afford one of those really big plush towels. At 50 CFM this model is good for smaller bathrooms, but it is on the wide side. If your bath is tiny, a smaller size(and less cfm)might suffice. I take quite hot showers and the mirrors have not fogged while this fan is on.Best Deals for Broan Model 659 Heater/Fan/Light, 50 CFM 2.5 Sones, White Grille
I checked out a lot of reviews on heater/fan combos for my bathroom. I finally chose this one because of the features and good price. I've had it for about 2 months and the fan and heater work great. I wasn't sure what to expect with the noise level, but I find it to be very very quiet. When my husband turned on the fan for the first time, I couldn't even detect the noise. I thought he was messing with me. Then I listened carefully and could hear the white noise sound. The heater is a bit louder than the fan, but still very quiet.Regarding the light feature, we already had lighting in our bathroom so we decided to put a small 7 watt nightlight bulb in the fixture. Honest reviews on Broan Model 659 Heater/Fan/Light, 50 CFM 2.5 Sones, White Grille
The unit looks nice and white on the ceiling; however, we have had the electrician back once as it is very noisy when on exhaust. He has adjusted the "pipe" but thinks he may have to cut it to reduce the vibrations. We replaced an earlier version Broan with this unit but it was not an easy installation, had to replace the entire unit, not just the lower level parts. The heater portion is wonderful and it is much brighter than the older version.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Broan Model 659 Heater/Fan/Light, 50 CFM 2.5 Sones, White Grille
Aside from the noise, this works very well. I am just disappointed in how noisy it is. I purchased 2 for both my bathrooms and now I'm bumming.Wednesday, December 25, 2013
Reviews of Haier CWH08A 7800-BTU Air Conditioner with 4000-BTU Heat Option
So far we like it. The verdict is out on the heat capability since its still summer.
Its much quieter than our new Frigidaire window air conditioner(FRA086AT7). Wish I had purchased
a 2nd Haier rather than the Frigidaire.
I wish both units had a foot longer power cords. They are 5 and 6 foot in length.
