Cheap pt1000 Solar Water Heater Collector Temperature Sensor Thermocouple
I have not worked on my solar water heater before and this was a piece of cake. The sensor was easy to replace and worked perfectly. Would have spent a lot more to have a professional do it and it wasn't hard at all. Just so it.

Discount Intermatic FF2H 2-Hour Spring Loaded Wall Timer, Brushed Metal
This timer has a lot to be desired. First the timers I received would not twist to a lower time if it had been set to for too long of time than first intended. This caused me to have to wire a defeat switch in the wall to turn the timer off early. Big time pain. I have several of this type of timer from Intematic. It would be nice to have a clutch on the time setting shaft so the time could be altered after the timer had first been set.
ACJThis timer is an excellent choice for a low-cost, reliable process timer. The time precision is sufficient for many applications.

I've only used my fireplace a couple of times, but I get the sense already that a 12-pack of the fuel will last me a season, at least, so it's the perfect quantity to buy. The fuel is easy to use, and burns cleanly...love it.Best Deals for Nu-Flame Bio-Ethanol Fuel Pack Fuel Containers: 12

Cheap Amico AP11000 11,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
Works fantastic for my needs but before you purchase please read the following:
I use this unit in a 12x16 bedroom size for an office. I did install it in many areas of the house to see where it would function best in accordance with the specification. First, it is not for a living room where it opens up to the kitchen, hall, other rooms unless you only want cool air and only if the weather is in low 80 degrees or less. It won't cool like you want it to. It's just not made for that, and besides, the product description tells you 400 sq. ft. So my advice for you is to research before purchasing any portable air conditioner because every manufacturer will tell you the size of the room it will be coldest (I know, I own two other portable air conditioners, from other manufactures and they are dead on when they tell you the size of room their unit works best for cold air).
Second, you must follow the instructions that come with this unit (very simple) or else you are doomed and your unit will not work correctly. It does not tell you in the product description that you must leave at least 1.6 ft. (50cm) space all around the unit, but the instructions that come with it does. I wish I would have known this before I bought it because I almost didn't have the space required. If you don't follow this recommendation, it will run warm air; compressor cuts off every 10 minutes and fan blows warm--there are two vents on each side (right/left) and one in back that need that scope. I hooked it up for a day without the correct space and thought my unit was defective because it was always blowing out warm air, but after I shifted to the correct space needed it worked perfect.
All portable air conditions make noise and the 3 different ones I own make somewhat the similar sound. This one is a low humming which I find very soothing but for those of you, who can't bear the slightest sound, you will need to find an alternative solution other than a portable unit, because you won't find silence in a portable unit. The compressor is inside and doesn't hang outside like a window unit; so, you'll never be satisfied with any of this type of unit. I also read reviews from customers dissatisfied with the LED display lights for other similar air conditions. This unit does not have blaring LED lighting but there are display lights which are not that noticeable or bothersome.
The window adapter for the exhaust hose (circumference of hose is 19") is 52" long/tall so you can adjust it to whatever size you need for either horizontal or vertical use which seals the window nicely from outside elements and is very thin--3-1/2" wide. It comes with weather strips to insulate even further.
I purchased this unit because it is 1/3 smaller than other units; self evaporative system exhausts most of the condensate water minimizing the need to empty the internal bucket; it has a remote control; and it has a timer to set on or off. And to my pleasant surprise, it runs cold air to the point of freezing if you allow it to (but remember only in the allotted space recommended for). Another thing to keep in mind is that I ran this unit in 90 degree weather with very little humidity (west coast).
All in all, this unit meets my needs exceptionally well and the following are the desirable features:
1. very good air output; lots of volume and pressure
2. very cold output; even if you move it to a wide-open living room area; cool air is obtainable
3. easy to move around on the coasters that come on the unit
4. all the features that are mentioned on the product description are absolutely fabulous; and
5. this portable air conditioner is reasonably priced
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This Amico Portable Air Condition has served us well since its purchase. Living in Southern California can bring the heat during summer, and this unit has worked admirably in our finished attic cooling the room to a comfortable temperature in a very short time. The only drawback is its energy consumption. The month it was used showed a considerable $80 jump in the electric bill. But at $4 per day (for the 20 days that our guests were in town), that made a usually unusable space livable during a hot summer month, I believe it was a great investment. As an added bonus, the predictable water condensation problem has been nonexistent.Best Deals for Amico AP11000 11,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
The air conditioner cools off our master BR nicely. It is loud, but that's fine for me and my husband (since white noise isn't bothersome to us). The problem is that it stops running after a couple of hours indicating that water needs to be emptied. There's a cap to remove to drain the water, but no water has ever come out of that hole. It's very odd. My husband has to lift up the unit and I put a foot soaking pan under one of the corners and some water drains out---we just don't know from where exactly. It's strange (and a pain).Honest reviews on Amico AP11000 11,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
Amico Power 11,000 BTU portable air conditioner works great, cools down our bedroom quick on high, collects very little condensation (about 1 cup every 2 weeks), runs quiet on low and doesn't wake us up while sleeping. Great value with this product priced under $400 with over 10,000 BTU rating. I purchased this portable air conditioner a month ago from another site. It is 100 degree's here and my closed off bedroom is 86 degrees. For 11000 btu I find this much to warm. Also you must dump the water every eight hours or so on most days, so you find yourself draining the unit in the middle of the night at times. Also the drain plug is so near the floor I had to build a stand two inches high for it to stand on so a pan could be placed beneath the spout to drain. I use a round cake pan and it is near the top when the unit is drained. Also I have noticed the kids bump into it a lot and knock it over and water soaks the carpet because it is on the stand. Also I have had to fashion a cover over the top of the exhaust out the window to keep the rain from coming into the exhaust hole... beware.Friday, August 8, 2014

I bought this at bed bath and beyond on the advice of my sister. I was really skeptical at first and my first batch of eggs turned out terrible. What a mess, cracked eggs, eggs boiled out etc. called my sis and asked her about where you pierce the eggs as the instructions say poke it on the top. Well, the top to my simple mind is the skinny part! Not so said my sis. The top of the egg is the fat part of the egg!!!!! So i tried another batch, poked them on the top (bottom in my mind) of the egg, put the eggs in with the hole facing down instead of up... And voila!! Perfect eggs in about 9 minutes. And i mean perfect, done to perfection! These eggs are cooked via steam vs. boiling and steamed eggs peel SO MUCH EASIER!! I can peel almost the whole shell off in one piece. Usually my eggs look like they have been through an MMA fight after peeling them. Yes the lid gets hot as its trapping steam (duh) so keep the kiddies away while its cooking. To address the negative reviews about the hot lid, it has handles so all the nitwits out there can lift the lid without getting burned. And oh yeah, open the lid AWAY from you. Dont plant your face over it when u open it. Lesson learned! And the pictures of it are decieving, this thing is small! About the size of a softball. It takes up very little counter space. Nice! Summary: this gadget is awesome! Perfect eggs easy cleanup. Cant wait to do deviled eggs for easter dinner. This is a paleo/primal eaters dream!Best Deals for Cuisinart CEC-10 Egg Central Egg Cooker
For people who love eggs everyday but have limited time. This is a fun and practical gadget. Easy to use, easy to clean. Follow the very simple instructions...SERIOUSLY! If it says use cold water, use it! If it says to position the egg a certain way, do it! Then the eggs will be perfect every time!! The only rule I am lax on is the distilled water. I have water stains in the unit, but I don't care. Stay near the unit. When the alarm sounds you need to turn it off and open it...otherwise your eggs just keep cooking simply from the trapped steam. The paper towel cleanup of the unit is what really does it for me. 4 perfect poached eggs in 9 min and wipe clean...so efficient.Honest reviews on Cuisinart CEC-10 Egg Central Egg Cooker
This was a gift for my brother-in-law who loves hard-boiled eggs for breakfast, and normally does not cook anything for himself. He read the short manual and now makes a batch of eggs every week. You can cook up to 10 eggs at a time. They come out perfect every time. A buzzer sounds to let you know the eggs are done, I wish it would just shut off instead. He has a tendancy to set it up and then head to the bathroom to shave and get ready for work. Sometimes the buzzer is going off for a while. We will probably never use the omelet tray, because it seems to make a rather small omelet. Use distilled water as the directions say, or you will begin to get a scale deposit in the bottom.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Cuisinart CEC-10 Egg Central Egg Cooker

The manufacturer lists this space heater as having a `whisper quiet operation' and `fan-forced for wide heat dispersion'. My experience has been that neither of these claims is true. My most important need is to find a quiet heater. It was quiet for the first few days but then it began to make a loud click when it turns on in the middle of the night, and unfortunately it wakes me up each time. It also takes quite a while to heat up my bedroom that has a size much smaller than a larger den or living room. In fairness, it does eventually reach the desired temperature however. Additionally, when I press some of the buttons on my TV remote, the heater also responds and reduces the desired temperature by 1 degree for each time pressed. This can be a problem when watching TV in the bedroom. I seldom give a severely poor rating to any product, but this time I must rate this one with only 1 star. Not only does it miss meeting my most important needs, it advertised that it DOES meet those needs. For that reason it receives the lowest possible rating. Note that I did return the heater and am now researching on Amazon for a replacement that is quiet and effective. I implore you to please learn from my mistake and do not purchase this space heater.Best Deals for Comfort Zone Infrared Quartz Heater - 3413 BTU, 1000 Watts, Model#
I purchased this heater in February 2012. It no longer works! I can't get my money back and there is no way to get it fixed. We have cleaned the filter as suggested and nothing. The thermostat never worked at all, but it did heat the room sufficient so we let it go. Now it won't do anything! I am so disappointed!!! Here's another thing we figured out. The remote frequency is on the same as our flat screen TV. It messed our TV volume up and made the sound go out over and over. I hate to tell this, but we sent back 2 different televisions thinking they were faulty because of this heater. I would love to have another(different brand of course) heater but were told by Amazon we weren't entitled to anything after 30 days. After using a smelly, non-ventilated gas firfeplace for years, I decided to give these a try. I bought 2, since at 1000 watts it is not going to heat our downstairs (kitchen/dining/living room)very fast, but after a week of use I am very pleased. Their mobility allows me to control the heating well (can bring both into the living room if my 2 small children are there to keep that very warm). Usually 3-4 hours of use of both in separate rooms(and closed windows)is enough to take the chill off. Very quiet, no smell and easy to move. I probably should have bought at least one of the 1500 watt units, but no problems at all with these units so far. Will likely get a 1500 watt unit soon.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Comfort Zone Infrared Quartz Heater - 3413 BTU, 1000 Watts, Model#
Second year using these heaters. Excellent in small rooms up to 150 sq ft. I don't use the remotes so can't comment on them. Lightweight and easy to move around. The timer is useful and auto shut off works well if it is tipped. Would buy again. In the third year and still going strong. Updated to 5 stars

The pros:
*I love the timer on top of the kettleI timed how long it took the kettle to heat to each ideal brewing temperature, and now I can just set the timer and leave the room. So convenient!
*It's attractive and goes well with the rest of my black appliances.
*The steeping basket is a good, fine mesh. Very little mess at the bottom with finer-cut leaf teas, and none at all with the larger leaf teas.
*Heats the water very quickly.
*The inside is stainless steel, so you don't get that weird plasticky smell/taste in your tea.
*Keeping the kettle clean, I have not had difficulty with staining or scale build-up.
*Takes the guesswork out of green and white tea brewing.
The cons:
*While I understand the cord is short for safety reasons, I do wish it was a bit longer. I also wish it was retractable.
*No whistle. It isn't really necessary with the timer, but somehow I'm just accustomed to my kettle whistling. Wouldn't affect my decision to buy it in the future.
*The timer only measures in whole minutes, when sometimes half-minute increments would be nice.
*The kettle won't maintain lower temperatures; you just have to unplug it when you get the temperature you want, and either steep a whole pot of the same kind of tea, or keep re-heating the water if you want to make different teas.
I'd been considering a few different, more expensive multi-temperature models of electric kettles/water dispensers, and I'm very glad I decided to go with this inexpensive (not cheap!) alternative.
+ Useful color-coded thermometer
+ Boils water fast
+ Stainless steel interior
Cons:
Lacks an on/off switch
Timer not connected to anything, just battery powered.
Short cord
It's useful enough to do what I need it to do: boil water for tea. If I want a green/oolong, I can just look at the thermometer and unplug it when I want to. I invested in a $2 switch for it, so I don't have to keep unplugging it and creating a big spark each time.

I purchased this as a tea maker because the last one that I had finally died on me. It wasn't nearly as great as this, with all these features, however it did the job. This however has made my tea taste even better. I hadn't realized how much I was missing out on! LOL This is a great product and comes with options for oulong, herbal, and green tea's. Awesome product! Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves tea!Best Deals for Presto 02704 Heat 'n Steep Electric Tea Kettle
A nice tea pot actually holds 40 oz, so you can't really call it a little tea pot. It does what it says it does, you put water in the pot and watch the temperature and when it gets to the right one, you put the tea in the infuser and put it in the pot. It is all pretty straight forward and a pretty good deal for the money. So the complaints I have read, it beeps when it gets to the last minute, well my stove does that too, because it doesn't time less than a minute, but will count down the last minute so you can stop it... important if you are brewing your tea for 2 and a half minute. The infuser is easy to put on. The thermometer is easy to read even with my bad eyes, same for the timer. So do I wish it had a longer cord, yes the cord on this is really short, do I wish it had an off button so when it got to the right temperature you can turn it off, yes, but I plugged into a surge protector and when it gets to the right temperature, I just flip the switch. Do I wish it was on a detachable base, you bet... but honestly for the price it does a great job and I am thinking of getting another, just so I have a back up. You want a system to brew tea and do everything for you well there is a $250 machine out there, for the rest of us, this works really well. And then we can spend money on the tea not the machine.Honest reviews on Presto 02704 Heat 'n Steep Electric Tea Kettle

I ordered this because the description said it was stainless steel inside. Only the bottom warmer is stainless, the entire housing is plastic. Plastic releases toxins on a molecular level when heated. It is damaging to your health to drink from hot plastic containers. Does anyone know of an electric tea pot, that only uses stainless steel or glass where water contact is an issue?Thursday, June 19, 2014

This heater which I use at the office has been nick-named R2D2 by my office mates (guess why). It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be standing almost 2 feet high. Temperature settings are only in centigrade and the thing turns off before reaching the desired temperature and has to be reset to get it going again. The resetting is an inconvenient process. The timer can only be set for 1 hour intervals. I don't like the damn thing. I might give it away and by another type of more user friendly heater.

This is an relatively expensive fan and it does have the necessary safety features to be allowed by fire code in our office that is a good thing. But the heater will turn off at a certain point and never turn on again. The oscillation features makes it heat up and smell like it is malfunctioning. Also, the fact that the temperature is only in Celsius just makes it confusing and harder to use than it should be. I wish there was a way to convert this.Best Deals for Optimus H-1410 Portable Digital Oscillating Fan Heater

First, the ambient temperature never came even close to what I set (reached 80.2f and it was set at 86.0f). Also, the manual says the fan is supposed to always stay on while the heater turns on and off. The fan turned on and off with the heater. Returned mine for a refund so I can get a better-working one.Tuesday, March 4, 2014
Auto Sensor Induction Cooktop Review
I bought the Aroma Induction Cooktop at Costco for $49.99. Up close it looks stylish and feels well built (I don't trust photos). I have a natural gas R366 Wolf at home and this amazing little cooktop will get a pot of water boiling faster.
And I was impressed even more with the ease of clean up. Since the glass doesn't get scorching hot like conventional radiant heat cooktops spilled food will wipe off easily. A big plus.
Another interesting feature...when you turn off the power the cooking stops immediately just like gas.
I'm sold, my next full sized cooktop will be induction.
Initially I was not so sure, but now I totally love it.
It is an extremely fast and a very cool product. We have to use iron & steel vessels, so it can become a very healthy way of cooking ( no more non-stick).
It has different heat settings as well as timer, eg, I boil water, add pasta or rice or egg, put it in the lowest possible heat setting, put the timer on and forget about it :-) It will beep when its ready.
Making Indian tea is the fastest in induction cooker.
We can also take it outside next to a plug point, for cooking outside (camping or parties)
Things I cook in induction cooker:
Rice
Pasta
Tea
eggs
Boiling water for anything
Coffee
Seasoning
Fish Fry
Any curries or sauces, that need to simmer/boil for some time.
steaming veggies (very quick)
Only drawback I can think of is getting some iron cookwares, it comes very cheap in walmart & target for $10.
It heats up super quickly, responds instantaniously to heat changes just as gas does. I have always used cast iron and am super pleased that pieces handed down from my mom and my mother-in-law adapt VERY well to this new way of cooking. I can't believe how quickly the pans heat up. I use the magnet test and am surprised that some of the expensive (wedding gift) stainless cookware will not work, but I have enough that will that I am super, super pleased with this manner of cooking.
I would love to retire to a live-aboard boat and can see that with one induction burner and an oven of some kind my fantastic, gourmet cooking is still possible.
I may not be ready to totally give up a gas grill for outside parties, but this is a truely excellent option.
I am a self-styled gourmet and lover of my own cooking (for the most part!). (Plain, simple, close to the source cooking.)
For the price, I think it's a good start for induction cooking if you're new to it.
I'll start with the cons:
The 1 setting might be a little too hot for simmering certain stuff. I've goat meat boiling at 1 right now and it cycles, just like most induction cookers do. Except at the 1 setting, it doesn't come to a crazy boil just 3 seconds at a soft boil and then 8 seconds at calm.
If you've read reviews on amazon about induction cookware, you'll know they do make noise. This is like the fridge noise. It's the fan. I find the noise was higher when i was using the frying pan but a lot less now with the stockpot. The intensity also decreases at lower power levels. The quality of the SS pan determines if you hear the vibrating sorta shrill or not.
It doesn't have the temperature setting like other induction cooktops; just power settings up to 6 levels. (Personally, I don't have a problem with that although i should mention some cooktops have 10. My reasearch showed most people only go up to 6 on those). I
This is soooo not for warming foods. From what i've read, most induction cooktops are a little too hot at the lowest setting to be used as warmers.
could go either way: fan stays on a little while after power button has been turned off.
Pros:
The device clearly states at the surface that cooking surface will be hot after cooking. The area around it remains cool as I'd water on the device while my pan was at a full boil.
The highest power i've used is 4 for boiling water. most of my cooking have been between 1 and 3.
It works with the cheap stainless steel utensil I got as a gift from penny's.
The timer is nice because I can put stuff on it, set the timer and go to bed as i work nights certain days. I must mention it only goes up to 180 minutes which is 3hrs. I wish it was longer only because goat meat takes about 3-4hrs to cook. My way around it was to set the timer about an hour later right before going to bed.
1500W of power is plenty for everyday cooking.
It cleans easily.
it's very easy to use right out of the box. I've yet to read the manual. I took it right out of the box, plugged it in and started using it. Figured out how the timer works by hitting the button and then hitting the + button.
It fits a small space on my counter top so it's space saving. Plus, If i choose to live in the dorm for school later on, I'll have something portable.
I'll update this review as needed but for now, I highly recommend it. I think it's a bargain at the current price (Amazon sells these for $54.99, you may need to do a new search as this product is listed differently for various sellers.)
update april 2012: Still using this as my primary cooktop and I'm loving it more. if you do have a large dutch oven with thick sauce in it, you can use the 1 setting to keep things warm. Things heat evenly, no hotspots or nothing.
August 2, 2012: This cooktop is dead. Gave me an error message when i put one of my pans on it. Same pan I've always used on it. Yesterday, It would only take my dutch oven. Today, it's just giving an error message for all the pans i put on it and I've different brands of stainless steel appliances. Only lasted a little over half a year. quite awful, in my opinion.
August 8: So I called aroma 2days ago. The rep mentioned 1yr warranty and offered to replace it if i can show proof of purchase so I faxed it to them that evening. Today, they called informing me they don't have this current model but have an upgraded model with a keep warm function and wanted to know if i'm OK with getting that. So they are shipping it today and got a UPS email confirmation 2hrs following the call.
All in all, I'm glad at the ease of product replacement as I was super pissed, hence my 1 star review but I'll move it to 4stars. I've aroma products 4+ years old and this is the first time a product had failed on me.
They told me 5-7days to receive the replacement when i called monday. I went ahead and purchased another induction cooktop on august 3rd as I've noticed that I can't go back to using electric burners. My SS pans looked new when I used this but one day of cooking on an electric burner and I had discoloring at the bottom and food burning and sticking which required soaking, SOS and lots of scrubing. Despite my experience, I still think Induction cooktops are great and I'm a convert.

We bought this from Costco.Initially I was not so sure, but now I totally love it.

Coming from a "foodie" and "chef" home background, I have been predisposed to gas cooking. My Wolf range has seen no spill-overs. I LOVE cooking with gas. As I enter the retirement stage of my life most of living options seem to be electric. I have read a bit about induction cooking and with the help of Costco's affordable Aroma Gourmet Induction Cooktop I am converted.

Love it, I have it in an efficiency and it IS efficient, safe and very economical. Couldn't be more pleased. Remember you do need to buy pots that will work with the induction. So far our cast iron pots and the blue enamel 'camping' gear seem to work. No aluminum or copper bottom.Tuesday, February 18, 2014

I will start by saying that finally, after installing two of these units in my 1500 sf workshop, I am very happy with them. They cool and heat very efficiently and quietly and there are not many units on the market which have the power and features of this one.
However, it was a long road getting to the happy point I am at now. I initially ordered two of these from Amazon, and they arrived quickly but both turned out to have been damaged in shipping. This is partially the truckers fault but a good deal of the blame must be laid on the manufacturer who does not package this model with sufficient protection to withstand the typical abuse which cartons endure in truck freight. There is is only about 1/2" of styrofoam between the front and top of the unit and the inside of the carton, and no crush space whatsoever. So both units arrived with bent case frames and one also had a cracked front grill piece and bent interior pieces.
Amazon offered to replace them but were out of stock so after some discussion I agreed to keep the least damaged one (I was able to bend the case back into shape) of the two for a discount, ship back the other for a refund, and order a third unit from TheFactoryDepot, one of amazon's resellers.
Well, guess what? The third unit arrived damaged in shipping as well. After much more discussion, this time with TheFactoryDepot, they agreed to allow me to go pick up a replacement at their warehouse which was luckily only about 30 minutes from my home. This unit was undamaged and so I installed that one as well.
We weren't through with our troubles though because the 2nd unit I installed (the one we picked up at the warehouse) soon started displaying a trouble code on the panel and stopped cooling. So we had to call Frididaire to have it serviced under warranty. There 3rd party service company came to the house and repaired it but they had to order a part so this took about another 10 days. Finally, about 6 or 8 weeks after our initial order, we had two working units installed and they have been cooling and heating nicely for the past 2 to 3 months. The remote is great it has all the controls to change modes, and control heating, cooling, thermostat, fan speed, energy saver, timer, etc. This is important to me because my units are installed 7 feet from the floor (to the bottom of the unit), and I have never needed to actually get up on a ladder to fiddle with the front panel once you get the airflow louvers pointed the way you want there is no need for that.
I wouldn't recommend this model at all if there were a lot of alternatives, mainly because of the poor packaging, but if you need a heating+cooling unit this size and you are prepared to potentially deal with returns and repairs then this is the unit for you. I don't say that entirely facetiously once we got all the startup problems solved these are very nice units. If you can find it locally or can pick it up from a warehouse I strongly recommend that as the packaging is very poor. That's the main reason I didn't give 5 stars.
It seems to have a tendency to short cycle but does not seem to hurt it. Doing some research on this issue now.
Would buy another one.
Shipping took a little longer than advertised but was not an AMAZON problem. Trucking company called and advised their truck had broken down and was in for repair.

Love the way this unit works. Really cools the garage quickly after pulling a vehicle in that has been in the hot sun or on the road all day. Love the way the blower runs only at the speed needed to do the job then slows down and shuts off when the set temperature is reached using the econ mode. This should really be a money saver compared to my 20 year old unit that (blower motor ran all the time) gave up the ghost after a lightening strike. It seems to have a tendency to short cycle but does not seem to hurt it. I've in living room for 6 months. Look great and warm room well during winter. logs look realistic. If background looks more realistic it's even better. put a pad at bottom for easy moving it in and out to clean. Both ends have cd/DVD storage. could redesign a bigger storage. would be prefect since I have alot. Come with a black marker to hide imperfection. I did the assembling. confused w back panel but figured it out. Very heavy stand.

51.5" Folding Screen Review
I ordered this item because it was lauded as better and heavier duty than others on Amazon that look very similar. It was more than twice the price. When it came, it had come apart in the box and we almost threw away small parts. We found them and my husband put it back together, but it keeps coming apart and now we've lost a screw that is what holds one of the sides on, because it was black and tiny and got swept up with the ashes. It's much lighter than I expected and my husband is going to have to spend considerable time figuring out how to repair it in some way that it will stay together. I would NOT recommend this product. I also ordered several other Minuteman Int. items and have been disappointed with them as well. They're lightweight and cheap--but cost more than most other brands. It came with a bright gold "Made in China" sticker. It lived up to the stereotype of cheap imitation crap. Sorry for the language, but it's a fact. I know that some quality products are imported from China, but this one is one of the reasons for the negative stereotype. This screen is exactly what we wanted. It also PERFECTLY matches the fireplace tools we purchased previoulsy. These items should be paired together!

Added a new sunroom to my house 12x28 with 10 ft ceilings. I installed the unit all my self. The 13 ft lines that come with the unit are just perfect in length. I installed the copper lines in the wall before they were sealed up so they would not be running down the outside of the wall so ugly. I found the directions to be pretty good that came with the unit. I did have the lines vaccumed down before I turned it on and opened the valves. The HVAC guy that came and did that for me charged 79.00. I called the HVAC company that I use for my regular house units and told them I needeed them to come check out one of my units. That I thought one might need a checkup. In a checkup they would come out and check the freeon, filter, etc and that sort so it was just fine to check this Pioneer unit for the checkup.
I will say take your time and plan it out slowly before you install.
I am very pleased with this unit.
