I really like this small heater, which also has the capacity to be used as a cooker. Easy to use and quite stable, it's great for heating small areas.

Mine arrived from Poorfish in great shape and I would recommend it to anyone needing a small heater with great versatility. Though it's not the "easy start" version, a match will light it in a second.

My favorite heater. I have an older version of this heater which will only run at 9,000 BTU. No Oxygen sensor. You can cook on it or heat whatever or where-ever you wish. Use it on your boat, in your tent, or in your cabin high in the mountains, or just about any place that you wish.

Remember to keep a window or vent open because this thing will suck the oxygen out of the air.

And also remember that the edges of it get extremely hot.

Gas bottles last about 5 hours at 9,000 BTU.

Trust me, the low setting will be enough in most small room-size spaces in most situations, unless you are in the Arctic in a blizzard.

The item shipped quick and in perfect working condition. Couldn't be happier thanks. I have used the cooker in my fatfish eskimo and it heats it up like nothing. Minus 35 is no problem for this little heater.

I use this in my portable 4 person ice fishing house, and it works great. It heats it up to t-shirt temperature after a few minutes. I usually have to turn it of so that I don't start sweating. Make sure to give it some room though because it will melt things. When I want some hot chocolate, I flip it over and set a kettle on top of it to heat up some water. It gets it boiling in a few minutes.

Works well.

Could have used a wireing diagram with new heater element.

It was nice to save the heater rether than throw it away.m

I would probably have given it a better rate but it is missing something that should be there which makes it not work with my fireplace heater. As far as the way it was packaged it was a rating of 5 I'm sure it works fine for one of the Amish Heaters just the wrong one for mine. thanks anyway. i also give it a 5 for the amount of time from the time I ordered it to the time I received it. I'll try and see if I can sell it.

This is the smallest fireplace type space heater I have seen. I have used the larger size in my bedroom, but even on low, it was too much warmth for the space. This smaller Dimplex unit is just right. In about a 12'x12' room, a few hours of this heater on low warms us up on nights when it's in the low 30s, upper 20's. I'm very happy with it; the style is great and it isn't hot to the touch. Unlike the larger types, the heat on this one comes out of the lower front panel instead of from further underneathbut that's the only difference. The power is wonderful and the flames-look, relaxing. It's also very quiet.

I was disappointed that the first cube package that I opened was defective so with that in mind, I decided to return all three Dimplex Mini Cube Freestanding Electric Stoves. The three packages were picked up by Fed Ex on January 29th and to date have not received my refund. Not at all satisfied with this transaction. Please see that I get my refund as an 82 year old senior citizen, need the money. Thank you.

I bought this mug to replace a similar item that had stopped heating. The new mug looks the same on the outside, but the interior is plastic rather than stainless steel. The visible plastic rim should have tipped me off, but I wouldn't have thought it could turn out this bad. It heats up just fine, but when it does, my coffee tastes more like plastic than like coffee. I tried washing it a couple times and heating up some soapy water in it, but the plastic taste remains. Keep searching until you find a heated mug that you can confirm has a non-plastic interior.

This heated car mug worked well for a couple of weeks, but then the connection between the mug and a wire stopped working. Something wrong with the connecting parts. It just does not stay connected. The connection between the wire and a car (sigarett outlet) works well. But it does not help much, because the wire does not connect to the mug, so it does not do the intended job. My coffe is cold.

When I first bought this mug, I heated water in it to test it. It heated the water just fine but it smelled AWFUL kinda' like a tire. I've been filling the mug repeatedly with boiling water and it's getting better. I'm looking forward to using the mug soon when the smell is completely leeched out. However, I would strongly recommend you just buy a different mug and spare yourself the effort.

Honest reviews on Heated Stainless Steel Mug Car Coffee Cup With Charger

This the second time I have purchased this item.

The first one worked until water got in the inside of the shell. While I am not sure whether or not someone put it in the dishwater (probably a no no) the fact is that I was using the cup plugged in with my left arm on the open window frame of my car and when the cup touch my lip I recieved a shock to my arm.

Trashed that one and bought the second one 2 weeks ago.

This one must have a faulty thermostat because the outer shell gets too hot to touch.

Also, the electrical conection in the handle has broken free making it very difficult to attach the plug.

Don't think I'll try for #3.

Just received this heater. Paid $51. with shipping for it from a reputable source with 30 day returns. Looked it over and have it running full tilt currently. My impression is that it is worth a few bucks more than some of the cheaper plastic heaters. It's about all steel on the exterior and heavy to be so smallvery small. Like the rest, it's made in China but it looks fairly well made. It has a tilt shut off safety that kills the power when the unit tilts about 45 degrees or more to the front or rear but not when it tilts to either side. Claims to also have a thermal safety. Seems to be putting out plenty of intense heat at 1500 watts. It's fan forced heat so it does make the typical noise of a fan forced heater... If you want something quiet, get an oil filled radiator type space heater (my favorite type for safety). It's UL LISTED. If it should fail or act up, will update this review.

Jan 22, 2011, Due to its small size, the outer metal housing does get fairly hot in places. Would not place it on a flammable surface other than wood or tile, etc. It's still working fine. The thermostat control is hypersensitive when it's running hard and hot on the high setting. Sometimes it will turn off and on much too rapidly. Otherwise, it works fine.

Summer 2012: My only complaint is that the thermostat control is hypersensitiveit will cycle heater off and on too fast when it gets room warm. Could have a unit with a defective thermostat. It still gets the job done. Per the reviews I read before this purchase, one should be prepared to return this heater if he receives a bad one. Think a lot of the negative reviews are simply bogus.

Dec 20 2012: The silly Chinese thermostat is working more like it ought to now. Upped my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Would buy another one like this if I needed it.

Jan 2013: Purchased another one for 51.29 with shipping. May get another RV in the future. Two of these small heaters would be just right for a RV to avoid using onboard LP gas... The thermostat on the second one is somewhat sensitive like the first one but they put out heat. When it's cold, that's what matters. The thermostats just cycle off and on more rapidly than most portable heaters.

March 2013: Purchased a third one. Therefore, this must be a decent heater in my picky opinion. They are versatile little heaters that don't take up much space. Upped my rating from four stars to five. It's a good little heater. Being so small is an appealing factor to me. Saw the thermal safety work once on the first one I bought. Had the airflow blocked partially. The red caution light came on and the heater shut down to cool...

Have them rigged on power strips to use in whatever rooms are occupied so it'll be toasty only where needed while maintaining the overall home at a lower, more energy efficient temperature.

Oct 25, 2013: Just ordered a fifth one. The thermostats are neurotic but that's no problem. Haven't received a defective one yet.

We use this heater in our camper trailer. It provides abundant heat, even on the low setting. It's quiet enough that it doesn't bother sleeping. Much more effective and certainly less expensive than burning up the propane with the trailer's furnace.

I love this heater -I've purchased severalit's small so it doesn't take up a lot of space but it heats the whole room quickly. has several settings and will turn off if a kid or pet knocks it over- very long lasting too.. I've got one I've had for about 20 years that still works great

Honest reviews on Broan-NuTone (6201) Big Heat Heater

The "Broan 6201 Big Heat", heater is well worth the money. I owned the previous model, Broan 6200 Big Heat for use in a 34 ft. Motor Home. I used it for 10 winters. It finally wore out. I was so excited to find the same Brand, "Broan 6201 Big Heat", on "Amazon.com". I have used other brands, but the "Broan" is the best you can buy.

TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT. Dee Dee from Ga.

I bought this to heat up my cubicle, and while it does heat up, it's rather noisy. It's a lot more noisy than I thought it'd be, even when I have it on its lowest setting. I wanted a discreet heater and it's definitely not that. I'll be taking this home to use in my bedroom over the winter, but will have to find another one for work.

The main draw back for me was the fan is really noisey.

Don't expect to sleep much if you want this to keep your bedroom warm at night.

Great heater, only uses 750W compared to the normal 1500W. The only downfall is that it's a bit loud. Although I do have it in our babies room and he isn't bothered by it. The feature I really like is that it will shut off once it gets to the desired temp and come back on if it goes below the temp.

Honest reviews on Indus-Tool ESH Eco-Save Compact Heater

I had a 1500w that I was using in an office environment. Every time it was plugged in, my office and 4 others would lose power because the heater was throwing the breaker.

After looking online I saw this low wattage heater and tried it. Not only does it not throw the breaker but it has a high heat output for its size.

I would recommend.

I bought this for my animals. I have several reptiles and their heaters weren't adequate during the very cold nights. I like that it has a temperature control, it will maintain the selected temperature, but it is just a dial with no numerical values. As in other reviews I saw that it was loud, it sounds like a fan.

This blanket worked for a week and then the electronics croaked. I had electric blankets that lasted for over 20 years so I had tossed the paperwork so I guess a return is outta the question. I have tried a reorder hoping I just got a fluke but will hold on to the new paperwork and get a refund for sure if this next one turns out to be a turd like the first. Most of the reviews are better than mine so I suspect a fluke, just "one of those things", so take this review with a grain of salt until I review the next one.

I have one of these, and it stops working every single night and the control starts flashing and won't stop until I reset the blanket by unplugging it and plugging it back in. Even when it works, it doesn't generate much warmth.

You're better off getting a real blanket or quilt instead of this. Just do a google search on the terms "sunbeam electric blanket flashing" for a myriad of reports from similarly dissatified customers.

The sunbeam electric blanket was great...in the beginning. It stopped heating up after only four months. I can't believe this. I'm so disappointed, and I highly DON'T recommend this brand to anyone.

Honest reviews on Sunbeam Royal Nights Heated Blanket, Twin, Navy

Not thrilled with the blanket. I got this as a Christmas present for my son because his bedroom is about 15* cooler than the rest of the house which is not real good when you live in Colorado. The poor kid sleeps with jeans, socks, and usually a sweatshirt on as well as 4 blankets. Dude looks like an Eskimo!

So I waited and waited til Christmas, figuring it was the perfect gift...and it probably would have been had it heated up to an acceptable temperature! He's had it on for about 8 hours now on high and it isn't even warm. I thought maybe he was crazy (ok, I know he's crazy but that's neither here nor there), so I got under it and it's really disappointing. I'll be returning this one ASAP and buying him a new one. It stinks to be a kid (13) and not have a present work...then again, it stinks even more when you buy a gift and then have to ship it all over the country to get it returned. ;)

If you're looking for an electric blanket that works, keep movin' on. Isn't much to see here except a still-shivering boy.

I've been looking for a moderately-priced electric blanket for quite awhile. Finally found exactly what I was looking for in this Sunbeam product. Probably shouldn't have picked a dark color, though!

I don't leave the blanket turned on all night. I use it mainly to heat the bed for 10-15 minutes before retiring. If I didn't know better, I'd swear it keeps on heating very gently anyway. This has been the year without a summer here (San Diego), so I've used the blanket almost every night since it arrived.

It would have been nice to read the care instructions before purchase. Sunbeam says to not use a commercial dryer, use a home dryer for only a few minutes, then dry the blanket on a clothesline. What if you have access only to a commercial (coin-op) dryer, and don't have a clothesline? The solution was to dry at very low temperature until almost dry, then put it on the bed. Doesn't seem to have hurt it any.

Do I recommend this product? You bet! And the best part is, it's made in the US!

It operates as advertised. It was a bit difficult to thread to the tank but given propane's properties, this is ok.

The only negative point is that its ignition instructions are inadequate. I've not found its country of manufacture but hope (for once) it's not china.

BE ADVISED as noted below, manufacturer out of business, so there is NO 1-year warranty. Seller was helpful confirming that and does provide a 60 day return policy.

We've had a 2 burner Paulin heater for a few years and this 1 burner almost radiates heat as well (although mesh on old burners was wearing out). Another review said it was noisy, but our unit is fine and hardly noticeable on high. DESA, the manufacturer is out of business but replacement parts remain available, but unlikely anything would break down on a simple heater. So order soon before out of stock. Overall the heater is sturdy, puts out steady radiant heat and a good value for the price.

We purchased this heater to warm up our living room to help combat rising heating costs. When we compared our current heating bills to the past two winters, we've already saved the purchase price of the heater. It does a great job of warming a localized space. I prefer the stationary option, but the rotating is great if you want to warm a larger area. The remote is very handy and it's great that you can program a specific temperature. The lip in the back is a bit small if you need to pick it up to move, otherwise we haven't had any issues or complaints. Very happy with this purchase.
