I have three brands of these types of heater. I like this unit best for heat plus the purifier and humidifier are a bonus. Only negative is that it is somewhat noisy. Problem would be solved if had wood case, not metal, as do my other brands.

This product works exactly as described. I have the unit in a 500 sf +/area and it barely runs even while it is -0 outside. The humidifier is easy to fill and there is a noticeable diference in the air quality when the purifier is running.

Ive had this xtreme heater for a few weeks now and ever since I got it, we havent ran the oil heat at all. Heats most of the house in no time. Can tell a difference in air quality from air purifier. I haven't noticed it being noisy at all it very quiet I thought. For the price, it's really a great product.

Honest reviews on XtemePower 1500W Quartz Infrared Heater Humidifier Plasma Inverter

Very good choice with several features not found on other brands. Excellent choice for the the same/less money.

Only disappointment was noise level which is acceptable but louder than wooden models, and the "Quiet Mode" does drop sound level to about the same.

To me, the sound level was no reason not to buy.

This heater arrived in record time, works well and you can use tap water for the humidifier! The fan is a bit noisy but has a quiet setting that reduces the noise. Worth the price.

We did a lot of research before buying and am pleased to say these are exceptional for the money. Being that this heater is a duplicate knock off of the Dr. Heater we knew we were getting great heaters. We purchased our 1st one last fall and it's still going strong so decided to add another to combat the rising energy costs. We have electric baseboard heaters and they are too expensive to use. The automatic thermostats are very accurate and the heaters are easy to operate. You do have to let the heater run for a short while to burn off the oil smell. We heat a smaller ranch style home with these 2 and they keep the house at a nice comfy temp. I would recommend these heaters over the higher priced heaters to everyone.

We live in a very old and very drafty farm house and needed a product that would help ease the high energy costs associated with a tough New York winter. This little unit fit the bill. It works great, heats evenly and quietly. Very satisfied!!!!!

My mom purchased this item for me as a gift to help with my energy costs. I was soooo excited when it arrived and plugged it right in! Worked awesome! I received it on a Friday. By Sunday afternoon I noticed it had stopped.... completely shutdown... no led light on for Standby... dead. I unplugged it, plugged it back in. I moved it to a different outlet, nothing, dead. I thought to myself, maybe it over heated. I waited hours, tried again, nothing. I tried emailing service at iliving, delivery status returned. Went to Iliving website, doesn't exist. I called this morning (Monday) the 866 number during business hours, nothing no answer, just a recording stating the business hours I was calling during. I left a message. I AM SOOOO BUMMED! This heater worked wonderfully for the 2 days that it worked. My mom works 40-50 hours a week for just over minimum wage and she out of the kindness of her heart purchased this heater for me to help me out and stay warm and cozy cause she is an AMAZING mother. I hope and pray I get a call back and that it doesn't take weeks to rectify this situation. I have company coming from the east coast in a week and a half and I hope that I can make my home warm and comfortable for them with a new or repaired Iliving infrared heater model# ILG-918. LOVED THIS HEATER WHILE IT WORKED!

******RIGHT AFTER I POSTED THIS I RECEIVED A CALL FROM MANUFACTURER*****

The man on the phone was very nice and took my address to mail me a fuse that i could change on my own. I am pretty confident that I will be able to fix it!! I will edit this review as this problem is solved. I do love this heater! He also told me that the next models to come out next year will not have the same kind of fuse. He said they are looking to change it to a better one. He was very honest and helpful. He also gave me a direct line to call him on in the future. The company name is Dr. Heater vs Iliving. Again I love this heater and hope this fuse arrives quickly and I am able to change it with ease!

*********FUSED CHANGED! BACK IN BUSINESS!*************

The fuse arrived very quickly! My boyfriend changed the fuse with ease! I am back to enjoying the wonderful warmth this heater provides me! Grateful Warm & Cozy!

I bought this model to replace an Intermatic 220 volt timer. I wanted to add the freeze protection. However, when my electrician began to install it, we discovered that the clock on this model only runs on 110 volt, therefore you need a "neutral line" to give the clock only 110 volt, but give the equipment 220 volt. Problem was, we didn't have a neutral line for this and had to send the unit back for model PF 1102T, which is all 220volt.

My electrician said that it was not uncommon for a 220volt outlet to be missing the neutral line, since there is no need to pull a neutral line to a 220 only outlet. I hope this helps someone avoid the mistake I made trying to save a little money by ordering PF 1103T and not PF 1102T. PF 1103T model claims it can run both 110 and 220, which is true, only if you are wired with an additional neutral line in your 220 volt outlet.

We added this item to our pool pump control. It seemed to be binding upon first engaged power-up, so I bumped it a little and the pump started. It seems to be limbering up now after a week of operation. The wiring installation was simple. I am concerned now about the freeze protection but I will keep and eye on it, when the weather cools.

Honest reviews on Intermatic PF1103T 1.5/3HP Freeze Protection Timer and Thermostat

The unit looked good out of the box, however, once I had gone through all the effort to mount it and wire it, the clock didn't work. After removing the face, I noticed the clock was loose in the housing so I reset it and it worked for a little while. When the timer came around to the detents it hung up and wouldn't turn the pool on. Once again I had to take it apart and make an adjustment. This happened several times. At the moment it is working, but I would not recommend this product.

For all the users who have had this fail. There is a minor "flaw" with this product, but failure can be avoided easily.

There is a thermal fuse in the product located near the side of the device. You should maintain 10 inches of clearance around all sides (no towels, etc.) to prevent the thermal fuse from overheating causes the device to "fail". This fuse is intentionally sensitive to avoid the product from causing a fire.

(Ideal design would have been a resettable PTC fuse, but this would increase cost).

The temperature control is from a bimetallic switch whose tension is controlled by a screw connected to the knob. Internals are well built and mounted, albeit simple. Appropriate heat shielding is used.

Otherwise don't expect magic. I purchased this for a sous vide and intentionally chose a simple cheap product. However caveats for users expecting fast temperature response: while it heats very quickly, it cools very slowly. (I did not rely on the thermostat to control the temperature, the included thermostat only very roughly controls the temperature and allows it to fluctuate wildly.)

Edit 9/10/2012

So far no issues, fairly constant use. For users wondering I find it draws around 8 Amps (max amperage). A 6 Amp breaker will trip when running this device (I would size all wiring for 15 Amps, but that's just me).

Also the top surface is very heavy, which causes it to hold a great deal of heat if you are building a sous vide I would try to maintain the temperature of the surface to your desired temperature. (eg place your thermocouple near the bottom of the pot, I let mine touch the bottom).

Edit 12/13/2012

Note: Your mileage may vary: the HIGH temperature setting does still regulate the temperature. Aka setting it on HIGH isn't going to just cause it to be constantly powered. This I don't mind. If it were to be constantly powered it would without doubt blow the thermal fuse, and with my PID controller it doesn't really affect anything.

I don't usually write reviews of products, but when I saw the overwhelmingly negative reviews this product has received, I had to speak up. I've had one of these for several years, and it's been working -and still works -flawlessly. I use it mostly for keeping a pot of tea at the temperature I like throughout the day, and I'm quite pleased with how well I can control the temperature of the hot plate.

The heating plate is cast -something, and it holds heat well. It does everything I want it to do exactly as I want it to do it, and the price is pleasantly modest. What more could I want? I don't know what planet these other folks are on, but the reason I returned to this product page is to buy a second one for my office!

i've been using this thing for well over a year now and it hasnt let me down one bit. its durable and requires no special care, just turn it on and set it to the level you want and let it do its thing. its reliable, quick, effortless and i use it nearly every day.

Although it appears to be a great product for the first couple of months... when it's done.. it's done! It simply STOPPED working after 2 months. If you purchase this item, be certain you purchase the small appliance replacement warranty from Amazon.. because the manufacturer certainly will not replace it!

I ordered several different hot plate single burner cookers to see which one I liked best, and this one won. It's sturdy and heavy.. and unlike all the others, it can be CLEANED....which greatly prolongs its life..Impossible to clean the others... so they get tossed after a few months. Some of the cheaper models didn't heat properly after a while, and even became an electrical hazard so had to be discarded. This one seems to be a better made unit.

The control settings are accurate, and nice to have 3 cook settings, plus a 4th 'warm' setting.

I swear by gas stoves. Wouldn't buy a house that didn't have gas. It was my ONLY show-stopper condition when we were house shopping. I was flexible on everything but that.

I cooked A LOT. The only reason I bought an induction cooktop was because I wore out both sides of the inserts on my [brand name] gas cooktop (they rusted to bits from constant use) and since I wanted time before I decided what my replacement would be, I ordered one of these to tide us over. We had the grill insert, so with one "burner" and a double grill, I'd have time to think.

I was shocked at how great the Duxtop induction cooktop was. I was a tough sell, but they won me over.

Water (for pasta) came to boil faster than my gas stove ever did. Peanut oil, for frying chicken, was also ready faster than anything I'd ever experienced with gas, and it stayed hot (I burned the first batch!). It has also been marvelous for wok cooking, and that's what made me a total convert. I've had to learn how to cook with it, but that hasn't been too difficult, since the results have been worth it.

The heat is so hot that I ruined a wok with a non-stick coating and had to go for the old-fashioned, steel kind instead. I like that! You'd think that would have turned me off of induction cooking, but just the reverse. Stir fry is SUPPOSED to be hot and quick (that's how you get cooked through veggies that maintain their color). I spent $25 on an all steel Wok at the cooking store with the initials W&S, and I've been making the best stir fry to ever come out of my kitchen. If for no other reason, getting one of these cooktops is worth it just for that (just don't use your non-stick coated wok with it--it WILL get too hot). Be sure to buy a wok with a flat bottom, and it has to be steel, of course, or the induction won't recognize it, and it won't turn on.

I was enjoying all of this so much, I ordered a second Duxtop cooktop, exactly like the first one.

The other thing that's been fun is cooking wherever I want in the kitchen (or where there is an outlet). There's a nice spot, right next to the sink, where there's great light in the kitchen. This is where it has been best to stir fry, near the sink (as I don't have a pot filler tap next to my stove), and having water close to a steel wok for quick rinsing between dishes is a good idea. No problem if I spill a bit, and it is close to where I've cut all the veggies. No walking back and forth to the stove. (Made me realize even more how badly laid out my kitchen is--as if my husband needed me to have more of a reminder of that!)

All of this has made me rethink my stove replacement. Maybe I don't need to do anything other than buy a replacement drop-in for the exact same cooktop I already have, and continue using the Duxtop Cooktops, as I'm using them now. Maybe we should all rethink how we cook in our kitchens, eh? Some of us have multiple sinks and dishwashers now. Why not multiple cooktops, in different cooking zones?

And no, I'm not a shill for Duxtop. It just makes sense to think about cooking zones in the same way we're thinking about other zones in our kitchens.

This is not to say I'm a total convert to electric cooking. It still has its downsides, as always. I can't scramble eggs with it without burning them or overcooking (or anything that requires medium or subtle heat, or with copper bottom pans--which is unfortunate), but induction cooking does bring something to the party that ordinary electric cooking never had: Higher, quicker heat. Did I say quick? I mean IMMEDIATE! Electric cooking is always going to have the same problem of hot zones that it always had, and these are not going to solve that problem. With gas heat (especially with copper bottom pans) the heat spread is even, and spreads evenly up the sides of the pan, covering the bottom. With electric, the heat is going to be hotter where there is a coil. Induction improves on that a bit, because there are no coils, but there is still a cooking center. (I found that if I move the pan so that it doesn't have a chance to get too hot in any one place, I burn the food less.) All of this takes practice and experience. I'm sure that people who have more experience with electric cooking burn food on gas stoves, so it is what you are used to--so this isn't a magic bullet, but it is certainly better than the old-fashioned coils. But, as I said, the speed at which you can boil, or bring heat to other dishes is well worth the learning curve, where it wasn't worth it before.

These cooktops have two methods of setting the temp: either a numeric setting of 1 to 10 or a kind of high/medium/low, but in a setting of 1 to 4 (I think, I never use that setting). I prefer the 1 to 10 setting (giving the greatest control). I set to 10 when I want to bring water to boil, but then quickly change the setting to about 3 to keep things boiling, and 2 to maintain a simmer (for things like sauces), or 1 to keep things warm.

It's my belief that every house needs at least one of these. They're handy for parties (when you need an extra burner), for emergengies (if the gas stove breaks), they'll be great for the summer for boiling corn (take it outside and put near the grill), and there is no way to get this kind of high heat for stir fry or quick boiling without upgrading your gas pipe to 3/4".

You don't have to be as crazy as me and buy two, but at these prices, it isn't as crazy as it sounds. Party, table cooking (for shish kabap or steak on "stone") will be great this summer too.

I'd recommend these to anyone... and I'd recommend two. Just avoid buying the interface disks (the products sold so you can use pans other than steel). Those ARE a waste of time. They don't work (they get too hot, causing the cooktops to shut off). Spend your money on a few extra steel pans instead... because you can't have too many pans EVER.

UPDATE 2/2012: I've had these a year now. I continue to use them, meaning they haven't ended up in the dead/bored appliance part of the pantry. Most of the time I keep one by the stove (that I still haven't fixed) and one by the sink. I'll move them around, as needed. I'm still not a very good electric-stove chef, but they continue to work, as advertised. If the food doesn't turn out properly, the fault is definitely with me. They were a saving grace during the Holidays: 3 burners were enough to get us through Thanksgiving and Christmas. The advice above, to allow the pan to warm up a bit (to setting 5) before blasting it (at setting 10) has prevented other non-stick pans from losing their non-stick coating, and having it flake off on the food. Not a good thing at all.

This Duxtop is my 2nd induction cooktop. The 1st one is working fine, but has only 1300W. I did enjoy the no flame heating of induction cooking, but the other big advantage of induction cooking device is the fast heating, which is missing with my 1300W cooktop. Now I have this more powerful duxtop cooker, I can tell you the cooking speed is really amazing. How fast is it? I did a test heating up the same amount of water using 1300w induction cooktop and my 1800w duxtop. It took the 1300w 6mins to boil the water, but it took duxtop only 2mins and 40secs to boil the same amount of water. That is over 100% percent saving of your precious time. If you are looking for a powerful and reliable induction cooktop or just want to see if induction cooking technology is something you may interested in, I will recommend this duxtop.

Best Deals for DUXTOP 1800-Watt Portable Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner

We bought this to see how we would like Induction cooking since we will be replacing our stove soon. I had read about induction on some other web pages and thought this would be a good way to try it out.

So it's been a month and let me put it this way this is our "go to" burner when we need to cook something on the stove. We set it up on our countertop (old laminate not granite) next to our also old cooktop. All we can say is WOW!! It is fast and leaves no heat in the kitchen like our old electric burner. (Important when you live in the South and it's in the 90's everyday.) There doesn't seem to be much or any heat coming off the bottom our countertop is still cool when we're done using the Duxtop.

There is a fan that turns on when you start it. That is to keep the magnets cool and when you turn the burner off, the fan runs for a short time just a few min afterward and then shuts off. My husband couldn't believe how fast it boiled water and cooked some of his favorite items. Suffice it to say, we're sold and yes, we're keeping this baby. Next purchase will be a set of induction-ready cookware. Like some others have done, it would be a snap to put it outside to boil corn in the summer when you don't want all that steamy heat in the kitchen.

This is easy to use. Take a magnet with you when you are shopping for pots/pans. If a magnet will stick to the bottom, you can use it on the induction hob. And also check the pans for a flat bottom. Some pans are slightly rounded on the bottom and I don't think they would work as well on the induction cooktop.

Enjoy! Bon Appetit!

Honest reviews on DUXTOP 1800-Watt Portable Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner

The upper 6 cooking power levels are advertised as 1200W, 1300W, 1400W, 1500W, 1600W and 1800W. Using a kill-a-watt, these all measure correctly. However, levels 3 and 4 are supposed to be 800W and 1000W, but draw 1000W and 1100W respectively. I've tried various steel and iron vessels of various sizes and have gotten similar readings. It makes it hard to fry things like eggs without burning them. Levels 1 and 2 are advertised as 200W and 500W--they achieve the lower levels by cycling the power to the coil on and off at 1000W, which makes it impossible to maintain a slow boil/simmer when cooking things like rice and pasta.

I contacted Secura and asked if this was "normal", and they responded with an indirect answer about grid voltages being different that could cause power variations of +/-5%. They didn't address whether cycling power on the lowest 2 settings was normal, so I assume it is. I emailed them back pointing out that the upper 6 levels were all within 1% tolerance, but the lower 4 were high by well over 5% and they never responded.

To amazon's credit, they offered to allow me to return it on their dime. But since all I do with it is boil water, stir fry, and cook eggs for breakfast, I'll just learn to like my eggs scrambled. However, if you really need the finer power control, I would recommend against buying this item.

I have enjoyed the Duxtop Induction Cooktop. It has taken some getting used to, as I have been cooking on gas for quite a few years. I am amazed how fast it heats. It works great for boiling water and eggs, making hot tea, etc. It is easy to burn some foods until you know how fast it does heat. The issues I have with it can mostly be addressed with repeated use of it and gaining more experience. I can cook most anything that I cook with gas if I cut it down to a low setting but then I haven't gained the benefit of its fast cooking time. It tends to have about an eight inch area in the very center of the cooktop that is where the induction concentrates its energy. I quite often cook with a ten inch cast iron fry pan and the two inch area nearest the side of the pan does not heat up like the center does. I bought this to see if I would consider someday replacing my gas range with an induction cooktop. I probably would not because I live in a remote area and quite often loose power in the winter. I can cook with gas without having electric power but I will keep the portable cooktop. It complements the gas range well for certain tasks but does not replace it. I've noticed that it operates on the same principle as the microwave oven. It cycles between full power and off for all cooking temperatures. When you select a low temperature, the heating cycle is real short followed by a long off cycle. This is evident when you are boiling water on power setting two or three. The water boils during the heating cycle and then immediately stops until the next heating cycle. Possibly the full size induction ranges have better control over the cooking temperature. If that is the case, maybe I need to talk to someone who has one as I may not be giving a fair appraisal to induction cooking based on the portable cooktop.

I ordered this after receiving a Amazon gift card as a gift. I didn't seek it out, but found it perusing around on the site and thought it looked cool so I took a chance. We always have backyard campfires over an old tree stump, and sometimes if they get a little too big I keep the water hose handy to keep it contained. But that problem was solved when we got the fire ring. We love it! It contains the fire and looks really cool with the moon and star cutouts. Our friends always compliment us on it and ask where we got it. It's really heavy duty too, and the material is anti-rust (we haven't seen a speck of rust and it's been sitting in the elements for several months). It's fairly priced, looks cool, and very practical. Plus it was really easy to put together. A definite must have for any backyard fire! Makes things a LOT more safe too.

Nicely made it's heavy enough gauge steel to keep it from bending but not too heavy to move if necessary. We use ours at campgrounds that don't have their own fire rings. We replaced the included nuts and bolts with stainless steel bolts and wing nuts to make assembly/disassembly easier although there is nothing wrong with the included hardware. It's slightly larger than I would have liked 3' in diameter but there is nothing comparably-made that is smaller. After having several very hot fires in it there is no noticeable damage to the paint or metal it should last us many years. I am well pleased with it.

I bought this campfire ring because I liked the night sky design. I was pleased to find that it is easy to assemble and is made of a heavy enough gauge of steel to last for years. I built a base for the ring from landscape stone and have received several compliments on the uniqueness of the our campfire setup, and yes the sky design looks great lit up! I recommend this product for it's design, durability and price.

Honest reviews on CobraCo FRSTAR369 Evening Sky Campfire Ring

I chose it for the size & it 'seemed' sturdy.

I truly expected it to be flimsy & hoped for the best. It is actually quite thick & sturdy. Cannot beat it for the price I paid. Love this type because it is lower maintenance than the portable ones & is much larger.

Family has made s'mores & hot dogs already. May get adventurous & get a grill top for it.

*UPDATE* One concern is that it does rust easily. The screws are the worst. We had to sand & spray it w/ rust proof black. I HIGHLY recommend you buy some rustolleum spray paint and treat it before assembly, then follow up with another blast around screws. It will save a ton of work & extend the life a lot.

Great price just what I was looking for It's nice and compacted doesn't take up a lot of room, you have to supply the bottle does not come with one, but no big deal, the cold water is nice and chilled, hot water is hot. So far I'm happy with it. I have had for about two weeks. I like that it's slim since i do not have much room in my kitchen my son had an old metal one that took up a bit more space and was kind of ugly to look at, this is attractive, light weight, but holds a 5 gal. bottle just fine, so it was just perfect. the storage underneath is nice to, I put extra cans of soda in there but it isn't refrigerated , I guess it would be a nice place to put disposable cups in for use. It does tell you to plug into an outlet that is all by it's self or could cause some issues with performance otherwise, but I did not have that choice but seems to be working just fine and have not blown any breakers so.... :)

I am very happy with this product. the cold water is chilled and the hot water is very hot. very quiet and I was surprised about the efficiency. It only kicks on about 1-2 times a day but keeps the water very cold and hot. water also tastes very pure. does not use so much electricity. lots of stuff plugged in but does not trip the breaker. you should buy it! PS. make sure you follow the instructions book and clean it out with water & baking soda for extra pure taste. T.D.

UPDATE: 8/26/2013

I don"t really know how to update amazon reviews, so I just edited with the word update.

To test the reliability of this item we left it plugged in and moved to a motel for approximately 4 days. (there was a lady around feeding our cats while we were gone) I relied on her incase something went wrong. she said nothing wrong. we came in the bedroom ( where the cooler is ) to find the cooler just fine, holding up, and not one drop of water on the floor! it still works fine,

hot and cold, but there is

plastic taste, but that should probably go away the more we use it. thank you,

Newmom

Update#2 9/17/13 the nasty taste went away instantly. I don't really use the cold water these days so some times I leave it off and get room temperature water

and hot water. overall, this little water cooler is awesome, I keep it next to my bed to get water when I'm thirsty at night. I love this one so much I might purchase another!

Newmom.

I'm an air conditioning contractor and purchased this item to cool my insulated garage. When I finally got it together and turned it on, the compressor didn't come on for a few minutes. When it did, it cooled like it should. But after about 5 minutes the compressor turned off. Probably on high pressure. It was only 88 in the garage. This thing should be able to handle that load. The controls are easy to figure out but the air outlet only adjusts left or right. You can't change the discharge direction up or down. So the cool air (when the compressor is running) hits me in the thighs, I would rather like to be able to direct the air discharge up and across the area for better circulation. Overall, this is a big disappoinment. This item maybe useful as a supplemental A/C, like in a room that doesn't cool well. But don't depend on it to cool a room by itself. It won't be able to handle the load.

We have the WA-1220M model of this product (virtually identical). If you stand right in front on it, up to about 5 feet away, it's nice. However, it has several drawbacks:

1. It isn't very good at drying the air; evaporation is needed for effective air-conditioning (whether in your car or your home).

2. It must be drained of the water it does pull from the air, and draining the unit is very cumbersome. It comes with a small flexible plastic tube that has to be connected to the rear bottom of the unit; the other end must be lower in order to drain or the unit really does very little and although there's an indicator light that will come on if the unit is quite full of water, it's very rare that the light comes on (and it only does so LONG after the unit has stopped cooling the air). We have taken to wrapping a large towel around the far end of the tube to collect water that drains, but basically you must tilt the heavy unit backwards to try to drain it. This is not particularly effective but it must be done.

3. It has wheels, but it doesn't roll easily (it's hard to push or pull it in a straight line and the wheels are so small even getting over a low rug is difficult.

4. Moving the unit up or down a single step can be accomplished by one person but since the entire unit is made of very smooth, slippery plastic (it has handles but they're very shallow & not helpful), it's more safely accomplished with two people.

5. Consider that this unit, while mobile, sacrifices a good window seal. The large exhaust hose (which pumps the hot air outside) resembles a telescoping dryer hose that easily falls out of the backside of the unit and is awkward to extend evenly. The unit comes with a smallish piece of foam with a cutout hole for the hose. However, you are left with having to find some way to block the rest of whatever window you choose to put the hole into. We use a large carboard box panel and cut a hole out of, then duct-tape the box into the window opening to block out air seepage. As you can imagine, it looks pretty tacky.

We wouldn't buy this again.

The coffee in this mug doesn't stay hot. I've warmed up the mug prior to use, but that didn't help

Honest reviews on Stainless Steel 12 Volts Heating Travel Mug - Available in Red

We often travel between two homes (270 miles). We leave early in the morning and my husband likes hot coffee. The first time he used this mug the coffee was too hot so he unplugged it. He was pleasantly surprised that the coffee remained acceptably hot due to its construction and insualtion. He went to use it a few days later and it didn't work. Don't know if the mug was defective making the coffee extremely hot and possibly rendering it unfunctional.

This recently happened and haven't looked into sending it back, yet.

For the price, this may be one of the best. Good construction, fits and balances well in hand. I've used it in the car only, not plugged into a computer USB port, and the only drawback so far is that it doesn't keep your beverage good and hot. My guess is it keeps the temp at about 120 deg.F whereas I would like it kept at about 140.

This item is functionally identical to the filters provided by Lennox. They work great and are priced right.

The only negative issue is that they seem to be a touch longer than 25", making it a bit difficult to get the filter cabinet door re-installed. Once the door is on, everything works great.

The finished size of the filter is not what is printed on the label of actual product, the finished size is 19 7/8 x 24 7/8 x 4 3/8. It is too large to fit without having to smash the filter so the lid closes and seals properly. The label states the finished size is 19 3/4 x 24 3/4 x 4 3/8, this is the size I needed for my unit and is what I thought I was purchasing.

We chose not to replace the electronic filter on a new furnace and instead, are using these Lennox MERV filters. Amazon offered the best price and we will continue to purchase them from Amazon. imho, they are comparable in air quality to the electronic filter we once had.

Honest reviews on Lennox X6673 MERV 10 Filter Media

I was hesitant to buy a filter on line, but the was the exact match for what was in my furnace, as described on line and seems to be performing perfectly. I will order another one in 6 months.

Good way to get the good filters at a reasonable price. There are better filters (MERV rating), but for a much higher price.
