Day one: Used it for cream of asparagus soup. Hooked it up about thirty minutes before I was ready to have lunch. When I came to get it the soup had burned onto the metal heater coil in the device. It stopped working. I threw it away. Maybe it works ok for fluids but if you're trying to heat a cream based soup or other thick soup in it....beware.

We already had the 30,000 BTU heater and it works great. This 20,000 works just as well. The thermostat keeps the temp pretty even....no constant adjusting or getting to hot or too cold. We don't have electric for the blower yet but the blower on the 30,000 works very well. The pilot ignition is much better than our older heaters...just a gentle press of the button.

I have purchase 2 of these to provide a standby heat source in the event of a prolonged power failure. They provide a nice source of heat if the outside temperatures plung into the single digits also.

This is my compromise to a wood burning stove for these Michigan winters. It's quite superior in many ways to a wood stove as much as I hate to admit it! Natural gas is cheap for one... and this does not use much of it either. I find in our 12'x15' room I'm quite comfy keeping this thing on its lowest settings 1 or 2 out of 5. We use this in addition to our natural gas forced air furnace. Evenings after work I don't need to heat the whole house toasty warm so I just heat up one room that way.

It automatically turns on and off as needed, regardless if you choose to use the blower fan or not. The blower fan can be on all the time, or also activated by the thermostat. I'm having zero issues with the AA battery ignition system, just remember to hold the thermostat button down for a few seconds after the thing lights the pilot so the thermocouple can heat up. If there is any complaint, it's that the fan is a little on the loud side but again not mandatory to use. I also wish it would smell like a fireplace at times :-) Great unit!

We went to the usual places to get this and couldn't find one for less than three hundred. Then I had the idea to look here...duh...and found so many options. We chose this one and are very happy. It is exactly as described, packaged well, works just as it should and best of all is at least a hundred less than certain home improvement places sell it for. This is my 2nd time buying the Cuisinart Brew Central. The first one served me well but finally needed to be replaced. It makes the best coffee! So this time I went for the larger size14 cup. I love the automatic shut-off feature and the temperature selection for the warming plate.

After my much loved Melitta bit the dust, I was so depressed, I loved that machine. Since the model I had is no longer made, I had to find something new. Honestly, I didn't think I'd find one I like nearly as much as the Melitta.

I was a bit skeptical about this machine, but so far I've been more than pleased. The coffee is so good! And I love being able to adjust the keep warm time, as well as the temperature. It was easy to figure out the programming as well. I usually make 12-13 cups in the morning, and the last cup is as good as the first...which is saying something!

The only thing I don't care for is the clock. My old machine had a bright, easy to read clock, this one is smaller and harder to read. We won't mention that it sits next to the microwave which has a clock, as does my oven, so I'm not really suffering, I was just used to looking at my coffee maker, LOL. One feature that I'm going to love is the fact that when we have our power blips, I don't have to reset it. Our power flickers (a lot) and I was forever having to reset the coffee machine.

So far, this machine gets 5 stars from us.

This works as I hoped it would. It does have a fan, which sometimes can be irritating (or at least drying) to my eyes, but I'm not cold anymore, so it's worthwhile! I use it near my desk at work to supplement the central heating. The thermostat feature is nice because it automatically cycles on and off throughout the day.

Just installed in a 28 x 24 garage with an 8' ceiling (the ceiling is not completely insulated yet). It's a cold windy day (0 degrees wind chill), and this heater is keeping the garage warm enough to work in a flannel shirt. Without the ceiling being finished, much of the heat is obviously escaping right out the roof vents. I do believe that once the ceiling is completed, it will do a fine job in this garage.

Shipped quickly from Amazon with no damage; instructions easy to follow; installation was simple. Called Mr. Heater's Customer Service line with a simple question, and after punching a few buttons to get to the correct department, I actually spoke to a real person who also spoke English. Thermostat wiring could have been a bit longer.

Two points to consider when installing:

One, although overall very light, the heater is quite a bit heavier on one end due to the control valve, making it necessary to put a slight bend in the hanger to make it hang level. The factory could have positioned the mounting point slightly to the left to counter balance the heater, but this is minor and easily corrected.

And two, be patient about letting air bleed from the gas line and getting gas through the control valve when you first light the pilot. My supply line is less than 40' from the tank to the heater, but it took several minutes of holding the gas valve in at the 'Pilot' position to get gas to flow.

I'd recommend one of these to anyone with similar heating needs.

is warmer than I need unless the weather is really cold.

I can get by if I turn the control down below the low setting,

but you have to be careful to check that the flame is

burning blue, not yellow or orange.

This is the exact same model my husband and I owned in Japan (except the buttons are in English). We love it! We are big tea drinkers, and it's great to have hot water ready all the time. I like the size of the 2.3 quart model...it makes plenty of water for the 2 of us, even if we are making instant noodles, and yet it doesn't take up too much room on the counter. It takes about 15-20 minutes to heat up cold water, but with the 6 hour delay function, this is no problem. It only takes a minute or two to reheat already warm water. This water heater is extremely easy to use, and has many great and well-laid out functions. It is very comparable to the Zojirushi CD-LCC30 Micom 3.0-Liter Electric Dispensing Pot...it has similar features and reliability, but a good bit less expensive. We love this product and highly recommend it!!!

This has made it unusable unless I want to use a pair of pliars. I've called Kaz, and they will replace the whole thing once I ship it back to them. I can not review this exact model as I bought my Comfort Zone Infrared Heater almost 3 years ago. This looks like the newer models out. I use my Comfort Zone Infrared Heater heavily in the cold months to keep my central heating down to a minimum. Was easy to install. Had taken more time to run a 30 amp service to the garage. I know that I was pushing its capabilities to the max, but was pleased. The garage is 640 square foot with 10 foot ceilings well insulated. It takes about 1 1/2 to heat up to 65-68 with temps outside of 35 deg. The fan is small, pushes air about 6 to 8 feet down and out from heater. there are some cooler parts of garage but none to complain about. Did a thermal test and with fan running the heating element reaches near 230 Deg. I wish it had a thermostat instead of having to turn unit off when it gets to warm. But still cheapest way to go without going into an industrial unit.

I have added a 220 in-line thermostat two weeks after install and works as intended. Turns on and off by itself. So now we have set it and forget it. Had gotten the first electric bill even though it was not as cold as last year so far. The good news is that the bill had taken a hit of maybe eleven dollars. Really hard to say.

Nice compact unit and easy to mount, however, it does require some knowledge about wiring and the installation instructions are of no help. They are more of a legal document for the company's protection instead of providing any actual assistance with installation. The wiring diagram shows that the unit uses a 10 gauge wire, but never indicates if it is a 10-2 or 10-3. The diagram shows the unit connection with a Load, Neutral and Ground for a 220 volt circuit and never mentions using a double pole breaker with two Load wires on a 110. The unit is a single phase. My guess is that this was written for use in the European market. This is sold through DIY centers so you would think they aould have taken a little more care in writing the installation instructions. I can see a lot of weekend warriors returning this unit due to the confusion caused by the wiring instructions and once they realize they have to run a 30 amp circuit with a quick disconnect out to the garage. I had an electrician quote just running the wiring ( 45 feet ) and he quoted $550. Considering the unit costs under $200, may not be what most people are expecting. If you are going to spend this much, might as well go to one of the larger units.

Once again Amazon shipped promptly and I recieved the heater in good condition. After installing the heater (with a licensed electricial) the heater ran for about 4 months until the fan motor quit. I called SolerusAir service for instructions and they asked to have it shipped back to them for sercvice which would have cost over 50% of the original price of the heater. I asked for them to ship me a fan motor at my expense and I will install it they refused. I also asked if they had a thermostate for this heater and they said no. Two weeks later Menards posed an ad for this same manufacturer and size heater "with" a thermostate. Can't by a fan motor for this unit and also can't use the heater after 4 months.

Ordered this last Wednesday, got it yesterday (Tuesday) and could not wait to use it. Ripped that puppy out of the box, wiped it down, added some batteries and even though I usually don't drink coffee in the evenings, I didn't care. I was a little concerned about the milk type to use. I've seen so many people say it works in skim or 1% milk, rice or soy milk. Well, no one said ANYTHING about Almond Milk and I can't switch to any others (cow milk...I prefer not to breastfeed off a cow since I was weaned many moons ago off a human, lol. Soy milk isn't good for boys/my son due to female hormones and I have really tried to like rice milk...). So, with that said, I was a little nervous this wasn't going to work, but was willing to purchase anyway.

Well, after nuking my almond milk for 30 seconds, I turned this on (I had poured my milk into a stainless steel frothing pitcher after heating it up). WHOA! Whoever left the review about blowing in a straw to get the same effect, I am rather impressed you can blow in a straw like that! I then let the milk set for a bit while I ran my coffee through my Cuisinart K-Cup maker. I then spooned this out onto my coffee and the froth was pretty darn cool. I totally felt like I could work at Starbucks (heehee).

This morning, I did it a little bit backwards to see if it would still work the same. I still heated up my milk in my coffee cup, frothed it in my coffee cup and then stuck it under the Cuisinart to see what would happen as the coffee was made. It didn't change the foam consistency at all. So it was pretty awesome that it would work both ways!

And, the seller themselves just really great! Communication was awesome from the time I ordered to now. Constantly making sure I was in the know about shipping, using it and anything else.

I like this a lot and it's super easy to use!

We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC and the winters can be quite harsh. Our 3200 sq ft home is heated by a natural gas furnace. After watching Bob Villa's infomercial we puchased the EdenPURE GEN4 HEATER and we couldn't be happier. This is our 3rd winter using the heater. We shut off a portion of the house by closing doors and only heat that area with the heater. This heater will keep our bedroom, hallway, den and kitchen at a very comfortable temperature and I am cold natured. Last winter we spent less than $300 on natural gas because we used the EdenPURE as a supplemental heat source. Our electricity bill only increased about $15-$20 per month. This is an excellent product and in 3 years of use we have never had any issues with the unit.

This is my first review I have written on Amazon. I just that it would be useful to warn consumers about this product.

I have now been the unfortunate owner of a gen 3 and Gen 4 Edenpure heaters. I have yet to have one of these heaters make it through an entire winter season. I bought my first Edenpure in October, 2010. I stared using the heater at the end of November beginning of December. The heater stopped heating at the end of January 2011. So after barely 2 months of daily use the heater stopped heating.

I live in Arkansas so the winters are mild at best. Rarely dose it ever dip below 20 degrees at night. Most of the time the temperature is between 30-40 degrees. Since I was just barely over the 3 month mark I could not return this item for a refund. Instead I had to settle for an exchange. I received my exchanged unit on February 21st, 2011. I used the until the end of April and boxed it up and stored it until the next winter season. So I start using the heater again in December 2011 and on January 18th, 2012 the unit stops heating completely. So an 11-month-old unit that has only seen 3-4 months of continual use craps out on me. That is just unacceptable.

These units are cheaply made plastic bricks and are not built to last. The heaters are big, boxy, noisy and hideous to look and for almost $400 you would think it would include a digital thermostat that reads room temperature but it does not. These heaters are also extremely slow to heat up an open door room around 300sq ft. Even though the advertising says 1000 sq ft. Buy one of these heaters if you want to go through the hassle of spending $30 every year for shipping to exchanging this heater out for a new one.

We bought our first EdenPure a couple of winters ago and I used it to heat the upstairs of our old farmhouse where my home office was. It sure was so much better and cheaper to run than the old small heaters that I used to run. It is quiet and even though I had the heater in the hallway, I could feel the heat surround me in my office 15 feet or more away. We loaned our heater to my in-laws to use in their livingroom while my father-in-law was in end stages of cancer and it has not come back as my mother-in-law uses it daily for extra warmth. I own two EdenPure Heating units and have had NO trouble with them that I wasn't warned about. I had one unit start to blow cold air and figured the bulbs must be burned out... then remembered to CLEAN the filter... Cleaned it and it went right back to working wonderfully. I have owned these units for over 4 years and for those who complain and give a one rating, they are obviously from the competition. I have found them to work well for what they are designed for... to heat a room. BUT I heat my entire house (1100 sqft) in ALASKA with two of these units. We dropped our electric bill from about 250 in the winter to 150.00. I heat my house year round for under 1000.00 a year... quite amazing! I am currently thinking very seriously about buying one to heat my business, which uses baseboard, that I can't keep on all night due to the cost. I do not see this unit as being cheaply made... my remote has never not worked... I don't think I have even had to change the battery in 4 years and I use the remote every time I turn it on. I like the long cord, I can easily move the machine about the room to bring more heat to a location I am at. I did a lot of research on this product before I bought it, but a very positive review from my cousin got me to buy one, and I have been very pleased with this purchase.
