I own 2 of these printers and am buying a 3rd in the next few weeks. my printers run 24/7 building parts for my business. they are both trouble free. i install a clean nozzle and recalibrate nozzle height every week. that's it.

i run the cheapest abs available and have no problems at all.

print quality is GREAT.

the software that comes with the printer is GREAT.

my printers have no faults at all.

these are truly commercial quality printers.

update 2-13-13:

running three of these now. fried a cpu on one, table heater failed on another. ALL covered by warranty. have an occasional plugged tip but that's it. these are bad boys :)

Having owned another brand of 3D printer, and researched many others, this printer is hands down great! Fast prints with low resolution, slow prints with high resolution, easy to use software, telephone tech support. The print quality is very good. The software is easy to use. Wonderful. The first and second prints were absolutely great, and they keep being great (dozens so far)! This printer does the best job of documentation, tech support, everything you need. If one does a simple web search on getting ABS plastic to stick when printing, even so, again this printer does a great job with that as the supplied print platform holds the part well while printing.

The printer can be set to print fast (fan flap open or not) with 0.4mm layers, or super high detail with fan cooled 0.15mm slow printed layers. I printed great 28mm models for my 13 year old son, and now he is using it to print his stuff. Impressive detail. As a parent I couldn't be happier. I also print housings for work as fast as they can print, with repeatable great quality. Holds mechanical shapes well. Holes print very well. No post drilling required as the holes print properly! Strong accurate parts.

If you have never printed with a 3D printer before, you might find issues with 3D printing. My only issue, is ABS plastic printers have a tenancy to warp larger parts right where they attach to the build platform. I am experimenting this ABS warping issue, (but this is an issue with all sub ten thousand dollar printers). I have tried many things. So far I found that the supplied printing base works very well,(but parts when printing can come loose). For this price point this is a great printer. (As I understand this, this issue goes away with PLA plastic, but PLA does not have as high a working temperature if one wants to use the parts for real things. PLA gets soft at 60C, and ABS takes at least 110C to get soft, a big deal with parts that might sit in a hot car, or get truck shipped.) Even so, this printer can print PLA!

Update 2/28/2013 Experimenting with part warping where it attaches to the build platform. Works for no warping at all!

A 2mm raft thickness works, (and is truly needed to fully level the build platform).

Keep the fan on. It makes great parts this way, and the rafts are easier to remove.

The only thing that I have found to work (to prevent wapring) is using the ABS/Acetone paint on the supplied FR4 fiberglass build surface they provide. (When applying the paint, remember the holes, and make sure you paint this on something that will not be harmed. I use a glass plate as a backing during painting.) The included documentation tells how to make the ABS/Acetone paint. Then purchase more clips (they supply six of them) and hold the fiberglass build surface fully along the front and back sides (remembering to leave clips off each corner where the nozzle can come down and hit them). I paint this slurry on before each build. The holes in the fiberglass are fully filled with ABS, and a very thin coat in on the top. It is real work to get the part off when done, but the supplied two inch wide putty knife works very well to remove the part. The build surface is very stiff with the holes filled with ABS. Using this I have not had any of the printed parts warp.

The things below were tried and do not work very well, in descending order.

1) I found that the supplied printing base works OK, but parts when printing can come loose, and the supplied build surface with holes can and warp. It is somewhat flexable, and the parts warp even when attached (and can pull up if no ABS/Acetone paint is used).

2) Kapton tape with ABS/Acetone slurry on top holds to the printed part super well to the Kapton, but the parts generally pull the tape up and warp.

3) 3M Blue painters tape (no slurry), as is, holds the printed part super well, but the parts usually pull the tape up and warp.

4) ABS/Acetone painted on glass held the parts, but the parts pulled up and warped.

If your application can tolerate some warping, then

Blue tape on glass seemed easiest. (about $20 for six glass 5.5" by 5.5" plates from a local glass shop) Just replace tape when needed.

The supplied build platform with the holes worked very well most of the time.

All in all, a truly great 3D printer.

my company bought me this to prototype parts for our business. Very easy setup and I disagree with the reviews that say you can't get the platform level: by definition, a plane is defined by three points (there are three screws to adjust the level); it just takes patience. I'll cut to the chase: take the ABS "raft" pieces or any misprints you have so far and add them to 2 or 3 oz of acetone in a Mason jar (or other glass container). Lightly "Paint" (i.e. prime) the FR-4 boards with the acetone/abs mixture (be sure to use a natural brush-horsehair or China bristle). Attach the FR-4 board and preheat for at least 15 min. I have had very good results with this technique so far (i.e. no warping or lifting on the corners like I was experiencing with a plain FR-4 board). I also built a "heat shield" out of a liquor case box to retain the heat (cut holes/slots where needed for the reel/line and "viewports" sealed with clear packing tape).

Honest reviews on Afinia 3D Printer H-Series

This printer falls very short of the mark. Unless you are a die-hard tinkerer who enjoys hours and hours of minute adjustments, failed prints, and concocting your own chemical slurries, stay very far away from this printer.

I have to say that the standards expressed in other reviews are shockingly low. 5 stars for a printer that warps every part over 3 inches? That can only be corrected by slathering a highly toxic and flammable substance all over the $24/pop base plates?

A printer should just work. I have had the pleasure of working with printers that do just this, both in ABS and PLA. Here are some of the more egregious design flaws in this printer.

A print platform that falls with no padding/protection if you turn off the machine.

A set of platform adjustment screws that get just as hot as the platform making later adjustments impossible.

A standard set of print sheets/bases that warp like crazy.

Software that regularly crashes while sending print jobs to the printer.

Software that makes up its own terminology for no-good-reason (e.g. "unload" rather than "delete").

Incomprehensible error messages.

You get the picture. This is not a friendly, simple device. While it may be better than others out there, it simply does not reach a level where it can be called "good."

I have been using 3D printing for many years. I've owned one of these printers (previously called an "Up! printer) for 2 years. I upgraded it to the newest version. For every 2 prints that work, one fails, although this may have been partially due to using inferior old plastic filament. As a result I often find myself endlessly leveling and calibrating the platform and/or unclogging the nozzle. In addition, the building envelope is small about the size of a coffee cup. Several printers with larger builds are now on the market.

I`d say that most of these consumer grade printers are not quite there yet. Since another professional level 3d printer company still has the patent for a heated enclosed printing environment (important, if not essential for ABS plastic, which will last far longer than the PLA corn starch material), warping and splitting are commonplace. I'd wait awhile before purchasing a 3D printer.

That said, I have read that this is rated as one of the better consumer grade 3D printers on the market.

I've used this pot for some months now on a near daily basis and had absolutely no problems. It is a must for the tea enthusiast. Not only is it more stylish than most dispensing pots, it is in a league of it's own for selecting temperature and sustaining temperature over time. It is quick to boil, and can silently keep your water ready for tea for all-day use.

The cost of this pot is higher than your average boiling pot, but it shows in the extra features and in the build quality. The pump action is a much-loved feature, as is the break-away safety cord (all appliances should have such a cord in my opinion). You can just tell that the people that designed this knew what they were doing and cared.

On the downside, I wish for 3 things: 1) the ability to set the temp to more degrees (such as between 160 and 180 for green tea instead of 140); 2) an on-off switch instead of always just disconnecting the cord; and 3) a slightly deeper indent behind the spout so that more tea pots can easily fit under the spout.

If you are serious about tea, buy this unit.

I like the looks and the feature set -3 temperatures, autolock with "unlock" button -is just right.

Boiling a full fresh 2-L pot takes several minutes. I tend to keep mine topped up whenever it gets down to about half, and that takes much less time to bring up to temperature. It does seem to re-boil the water whenever the top is opened, rather than only bringing it up to the set point. That's probably a very good thing, as far as keeping it from becoming a microbial breeding ground.

I used to unplug it when I left the house because I was worried about fire hazards; I stopped after the first few weeks because the outside barely gets warm to the touch, except at the top near the vent, where it's quite warm. When it's boiling water, it does let off a bit of steam through the top vent. When not running the boil cycle it lets out very little steam I can comfortably cup my hand over the vent for several minutes; the plastic is warmer than the air above the vent so I usually leave it shoved under a cabinet except when I've just added water. The underside of the cabinet is about 4 inches away and I cannot feel any temperature difference between that surface and the other cabinets nearby.

I do wish I'd bought a larger one. When I purchased this, I thought I'd use it for a cup of tea or two a day and 2 liters would be plenty. Now that I have plenty of hot water on demand, and at just the right temperature, I drink a lot more tea and my roommate has joined me. I also use it for all sorts of other hot-water needs (instant soups and cereals, for example) so that it needs refilling daily.

With that note about the heavy use it gets, it functions beautifully with minimal cleaning. Every now and then when it runs empty I wipe out the interior. Beyond that, I've only descaled it once in over 2 years, and that was because the calcium build-up on the heating element was making it take too long to boil my water -there was no clogging or pressure/volume reduction.

I didn't review this when I bought it because as much as I loved it, I expected the calcium in the local water to clog it in a matter of weeks to months. Now I have something more valuable to say: it keeps working, month after month, with minimal attention, for years.

___________________________________

Edited to add: I've now owned this dispenser for just over 4 years, and I still use it daily and love it every bit as much. It might be time to descale it again (the second time since I bought it), and again that's due more to scale insulating the heating element than to any clogging or loss of dispensed volume. I'm considering buying a second one, not because anything is wrong with my first one, but because it still works _so_ well that I've become thoroughly spoiled to piping hot water on demand and now feel put-upon needing to go all the way downstairs for a cup of bedtime tea or a bowl of instant miso soup in the morning. This dispenser kept on my nightstand, filled with filtered water, plus my Aero Press coffee maker, would be the best coffee-in-bed-first-thing solution ever.

Edited again to add: At almost 5 years, I need another. Not that this one has stopped working admirably -it's never malfunctioned in any way -but I need a larger one. I've been cooking more of late, and the just-below-boiling water is the perfect thing to clean cast iron cookware -splash some hot water into the hot pan, swirl a brush around it, empty it, and put it back on the hot burner/oven rack to dry. No sink, no soap, no drainer, no dishwasher, and the cookware is clean before the food is cool enough to eat. It would be perfect if it didn't mean filling the dispenser twice a day when I cook. This is the last-straw added demand for hot water that renders my poor 2-liter dispenser an annoyance. I'm tired of filling it so often. I'm moving it into the bedroom for morning/bedtime coffee/tea, where I can love it again, and buying a 4-liter one for the kitchen. If I could give this little trooper six stars, or ten, I'd do so gladly; the worst thing I can say about it is that it performed so well it created more demand than it's sized to handle. Wow.

I originally purchased this item in July of 2006 and in November of 2011, it's still working well. I've only had to descale it twice, and I leave it plugged in all the time. It's definitely a well engineered product.

My review from 2006: I've been pretty pleased with this little water heater. It lets you select three different temperatures (though I wish that it provided more options than that), has a handy water gauge on the front, a magnetically attached power cable, and a set of two buttons to hit so that you don't accidentally engage the water dispensor. I'm pretty pleased with it.

Unfortunately the Zutton line of products bombed out in Japan so they sent them over here to try. Zojirushi is normally known for its quality products (and you can't beat the longevity on their "Made in Japan" potto dispensing pots) however, the entire Zutto line was tested by me and found to be less than promising (if you go to Japan and visit a department store, you will see the Zutto line in a quiet corner drawing no attention). The problem is that it tries to present itself as trendy and perhaps even metallic in nature. When you get the actual product you discover that it is in fact plastic and flimsy (just lift the lid on the Zutton Dispensing Water Pot and you can feel the quality or lack thereof). None of the Zutto products have any substance. To make matters worse, they must sell in this country for more than they sold in Japan. This reason is unknown other than the fact that they are trying to promote it as a high-end item when in fact it is plastic. Stick with the high-end rice cookers other than Zutton line (Made in Japan only)... For more information in Japanese see

I use this exclusively for baby formula at 140 degree. The water at 140 degree is still kind of hot, so I still add cold water to mix the formula. Very solid and easy to use. The lid come off for easy pour of water and cleaning. The electrical cord is magnetic so fells off with slight pull, which is good to prevent tripping of the cord and pulling of the pot with hot water in it. This is a good safety feature, if you have toddler or baby, they might tug on the cord and if the cord is fixed on the pot it will spill hot water all over, which is dangerous. But not this one. FYI, this is made in China.

Review of European Dual Voltage Travel Water Heater Kettle - 2 Cups

European Dual Voltage Travel Water Heater Kettle - 2 Cups
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

I am very pleased with the performance of this water heater. I have burnt up coils before, in just a few days, so I was reluctant to spend the money. I'm glad that I did. This heater worked fabulously on a 3 week trip to Peru at 220 voltage, and a week in Jamaica at 110, and is still going strong. It can bring water to boiling surprisingly fast. It takes up very little space in the suitcase too. I'm taking this baby with me everywhere I travel.

My wife and I travel 3-5 times a year. We both enjoy either tea or flavored coffees. Hotels and cruise ships do fine for delivering ready made coffee, but hot water is not always hot. By the time it goes into their thermos or pot, then is poured into a cold ceramic cup/mug, it is not at all piping hot! So, we either run water through the coffee maker without coffee and get that wonderful acidy after taste, or use the luke warm water provided.

This little travel pot is great. It is faster than our previous Frantz unit, and works perfect. The first dozen or so uses had a plastic tasting flavor, but we seem to have worked past that. Weight is not bad, size is minimal, and the piece nest together nicely for packing in a suitcase. The voltage can adapt to whatever country you are in, and we've never not been able to use it. Hotels, cruise ships, even bed and breakfasts. This unit gives us the flexibility to have morning or afternoon coffee at our leisure, and to have it HOT!

I looooove this gadget! It heats water real quick and it's very lightweight. I am a flight attendant and I fly international and in most foreign countries other than UK and France it is hard to find a Water Heater in the room. It's dual voltage so its a plus for me. I put it in a little puch and throw it in my suitcase and there we go. It's very lightweight and the cord wraps around it nicely. Also it brought a little 110 plug, how sweet. It's been already to Africa and Paris, not that you can't get a great cup of cafe au lait in Paris. But it's very convenient while I'm getting ready having a nice cup of tea or coffee. Haven't tried for soups yet,but I guess it'll do the trick as well.I totally recomend it.

Honest reviews on European Dual Voltage Travel Water Heater Kettle - 2 Cups

I bought it because i would be away from home on a third-world island for a couple of years. This item really doesn't have any viable competitors. So, i paid the exorbitant price for it, expecting at least the average electric kettle quality.

The first clue that it wasn't even average quality was that it came with a sticker saying something like, "This product contains materials known by the state of California to cause cancer in laboratory animals..."

It did have a strange chemical smell to it, which was also in the water i heated in it, but i thought it would eventually go away with use, which it did. ...probably, because i drank all of the chemical residues involved. :^)

Since i didn't see anything really comparable to it on the market, and i was busy getting ready for my trip, i decided to take my chances with the cancer causing chemicals, as we do daily with so many others...

After a couple of months of daily use though, i've stopped using it, because the internal bottom surface of it, which looks kind of like grey paint, began to chip, and dissolve those chips in the water i was heating in it for my tea.

So, especially considering the incredibly high price for this piece of junk, i would not recommend it, for either daily or occasional use...

Honeywell Cool Touch Oscillating Heater w/ Smart Energy Digital Reviews

I love this little heater! I bought this to help heat my trailer. It does such a great job that my furnace has hardly kicked on, even on the 32 degree and below nights we have already had! I really like how you can set the temperature and the heater actually seems to run and heat according to the actual room temp, not the heaters temp or the immediate areas temp. When I was out looking at heaters, a Lowe's employee told me that the thermostat is on the top of the heater so the closer to the floor you can place it the more accurate the heater's thermostat will read, so therefore the heater will run more accurately. I have mine set about 18" off the floor at one end of a 450sq. ft area. My thermostat is across the room and reads fairly close to what I have the heater set for!!!

I also bought this for the safety features. The outside stays cool and if it tips over it shuts off. I have a curious 1 year old so these features were very important to me. It also has a slim design so it fits well up buy the wall out of the way. It is pretty quiet too.

I highly recommend this heater and intend to buy one for my bedroom as well!

Enjoy a softly warm flow of circulated heat by selecting this very quiet heater's oscillation that rotates up to about ½ circle.

Here's how it has been designed to save up to 35% on electricity, which means a small contribution to lowering greenhouse gases on the top of this heater is its Energy Smart knob that has six basic settings: -"frost watch" 65 F. 70 F. 75 F. 80 F. maximum heat.

On "Maximum Heat" the heater goes full force and does not save electricity. On the other settings the heater automatically selects the appropriate power level to best accommodate your desired temperature selected. As the temperature in the room approaches the set temperature, the heater will automatically lower the power consumption and provide consistent warmth without wasting energy. This also means your room will heat to the set temperature without overheating the room -a real nice feature.

The illuminated LED lights indicate what the current room temperature is. The "frost watch" automatically turns the unit on if the temperature drops below 55 F. to help protect against freezing of pipes or frost damage.

This heater also has an auto-off tip over switch and Overheat Protection; plus a 3 year warranty. And, its operation is almost silent and it's cool to the touch. Five stars for Honeywell's design and quality control of this Made in China product.

Best Deals for Honeywell Cool Touch Oscillating Heater w/ Smart Energy Digital

I bought this heater at Wal-Mart for $40.00 so Amazon's price is higher plus it doesn't include taxes and shipping. The unit itself is wonderful. I have a 15x14 bedroom and it gets my room up to 80 degrees in no time. It's not extremely quiet but it's not so loud that it drowns out the TV. I love the fact you can tell what temperature it is in the room right on the heater and that it swivels back and forth on it's own. The feature that was most important to me is that the front face/grill of it wouldn't be hot to the touch and no matter what the temperature it stays cool. So I don't have to worry about anyone getting burned or it tipping over on something and burning the house down.

I bought another heater (smaller) for my office cubicle and that one's going back because it throws heat but only in one direction and the front/grill gets hot. For it to be effective it would have to sit on my desk and that's not possible. So, I'll just pick-up another Honeywell. I highly recommend this Honeywell heater, I haven't had to turn on the heat so far and with these units I hopefully won't have to all winter long.

Honest reviews on Honeywell Cool Touch Oscillating Heater w/ Smart Energy Digital

This is my first negative review on Amazon. I bought two of these space heaters, and both of them failed within the first year. One turns on but the heating element doesn't heat up. The other overheats anytime it's turned on, then shuts itself off. Talk about poor quality control! I wouldn't waste your time with these Honeywell heaters; try any other brand first.

This is a good heater. I have it and it serves it's purpose good. What I wanted to say most importantly is that the cord is very long. What most people do not realize is that it is wrapped up underneath the base...so it is hidden. If you look underneath you'll see it...it's a storage compartment for the cord.

this is a good herbal medicine cooker. the only thing I don't like is if you put in a big pot of herbal medicine which fills near the top, you will likely also add more water, and it will take a very long time like 3 to 4 hours to cook the medicine. if you fill your medicine only half way up inside, then it will take about 1 hour to cook. being electric with self timer helps a lot when I want to go out, and not have to watch it.

I literally can't live without this herbal cooker. I brew herbs 12 out of 14 days and was trying to do it in a stainless steel pot on the stove. The Herbal Medicine Cooker brews the herbs so well that I only have to drink 1/3 of a cup 3 times a day instead of 1 cup 3 times a day. It is totally automatic, so I just have to check the indicator lights now and then and can continue doing other things without worrying.

* This heater puts out a lot of heat. Do not place any item that can catch on fire within four(4) feet of the front of this heater. Do not place any item within six(6) feet of front of heater that you do not want to get very, very hot. With both burners on, even on low, one can feel the heat emanating from it 10 feet away.

* Items to the side and rear over a foot away do not receive direct heat and do not get hot. If one builds a stand/brace to hold it a foot away from any rear or side surface, this could be easily wall mounted rather than mounted on a tank. In a workshop, one could use a 12' extension hose and place the tank out of the way.

* This model requires lighting it with a flame. You will need to purchase a butane lighter with long nozzle or fireplace type(extra long) matches.

* You can light one or two burners but once lit you cannot shut-off just one. If you lite two and it gets too hot, you have to turn off the heater and light one burner.

* The hose is very short and fittings are under considerable stress if used as suggested by attaching directly to (20#/30#) propane tank. A short extension hose is advised. This also protect the brass connection from too much wear.

* It is pretty quiet but does have a constant hiss and will ' sing hi & low ' loudly when it first starts.

* If you are going to need it for extended time, you should plan on having at least two 20# tanks, minimum. If the power is out due to a storm and not expected back on for weeks, you might want to buy a 40# or even larger tank. NB: A 40# tank will weigh > 70# when full not light!

* If using this for indoor heating, do NOT use it in an unvented area. This heater will suck the oxygen out of a tightly closed space in a very short time. Do not use it in any area without venting it so that a fresh supply of air is always available. An old house like the one I am remodeling has plenty of air exchange but new homes do not. If it must be used inside, place near a window and open the window a little so that fresh air is supplied. CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING AND DEATH CAN RESULT IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS!

( A _vented_ fireplace is another good location to place the heater. )

Other than the inherent danger in burning anything, especially burning anything inside a home, the only problem with it is that it gets so hot that one cannot be near it ... or even walk in front of it with 3 or 4 feet.

The most obvious missing item is no thermostat control to regulate the output of the burners. Manual intervention is the only way to regulate temperature in the area.

I like the heater. However, it is an ugly eyesore and really has no permanent place inside any living space, IMHO.

For a situation where normal heating is not possible, it can and does heat a couple of rooms in a very drafty old house enough to be comfortable even when it is below freezing outside. Once the normal heating is restored this will make a great workshop/garage heater and also very nice for grilling outside in the winter without freezing the buns.

If the situation is not so dire and there is some heat available, the smaller 'Buddy' version, which I also have, does very good. However, it cannot handle unheated areas when freezing temperatures are present.

...

Although not perfect, it gets five stars because there is nothing better, it works as Mr. Heater promised and should be usable for quite a few years in the future.

I have the older version that is functionally identical to the current version (they replaced the L-bolt that holds the heater on the tank with a ribbed knob on the new version). I love it for taking the morning chill off the house in the morning. I keep it in the kitchen and fire it up first thing on a cold morning. After about 30 minutes the chill is off not only the kitchen but the adjacent master bedroom and living rooms.

Be cautious like any unvented heater it can be dangerous if you try to heat an unvented space for any length of time.

It is economical to use and even more so if you are able to find a local propane tank refiller. If you are forced to exchange the tank, it can cost [$$$]. If you have the tank refilled it will only cost [$$$].

My heater was given to me, used, and I liked it so much I gave one to my sister to use when she didn't want to burn the fireplace. I am now going to buy a newer one for the house, and relegate the older on out to my workshop.

Reliable, efficient, made in the USA whats not to like.

I bought one of these for keeping me warm in the garage while I'm working. My garage is too big to economically heat the entire space, so I opted for a directional heat, as I'm typically somewhat stationary at the bench. This does the trick quite well!

The unit is solidly built, and I've used it now for about 4 months without a problem.

A couple of improvements I think could be made:

1) The unit I have does not have an igniter on it, so you must light it via an external source (usually a match). I found I can easily light it via a small Benzomatic torch I own, but it would be nice to have an igniter on it. I'm not sure; perhaps a pricier model has this feature.

2) To connect the heater to the propane, you have to use a wrench. I would prefer if it were more like my BBQ grill, where you can tighten on the connection without tools.

Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase!

Honest reviews on Mr. Heater Double Tank-Top Propane Heater - 8,000-28,000 BTU

The above reviews say it all. Not to be superfluous, I'll add a few points, mostly cautionary.

If your living in an alternative living space, need heat in an area with no central heating, or wish to save on the heating bill yeah this heater is the most economical, most powerful heat source I've found on the commercial market.

Lighting, as mentioned above is a somewhat dicey operation. You must hold in the pressure release valve button, and hold the flame source to the heater simultaneously. You must keep holding the button for about 30 seconds after the burner has taken the flame until it is fully lit. To do this more easily, squat to the level of the heater, and face the side (not the rear) of the heater.

And watch that your garments, jacket sleeves, etc., do not brush against or come to near the heater unit during operation. They can be easily singed.

It heats up fast. In less than two minutes, a very cold area should heat up, especially if both burners are lit I generally only use one burner. That's all I need for personal heat. The other reviewers aren't kidding. Do not have any object closer than a four foot radius from the heater and the area must be ventilated. I make a practice of never leaving the heater unattended.

One liter of propane should keep you warm for at least a good 10 hours with one burner going. I've often found myself turning the heater to the lower setting or entirely off after the area heats up.

The tank connection fitting screws into the tank counter-clockwise. To tighten, use a fairly substantial crescent wrench, with smooth jaws, as the fittings are brass and malleable. I don't recommend an extension, as it's one more fitting to worry about having a potentional leak. Tighten the connection firmly, but don't get paranoid and overtighten.

A powerhouse piece of gear. When the weather warms up, I disconnect the heater, and store the tank in a cool place, and if not emptied, on the floor, in an upright position.

These are great for camping and on your patio. We have used these for a number of years. We tried another brand and they were noisey and did not approach the standard of Mr. Heater.

Sunheat makes the highest quality heaters on the market. The 750 watt is smaller and has no wheels. I love that the on/off switch as located at the front near the top of the unit. High quality, made in the USA wood case. More expensive then most heaters, but worth it long term.

I bought this as a reconditioned item. However, when it never works from the beginning, I have my doubts about this companies work. Even after we called customer service and followed their instructions it would not work. By the way, Customer Service instructions did not even come close to what the handbook indicated. I can not risk trusting this company again.

I was very disappointed with this steamer. The power of the steam was insufficient to remove wrinkles. I went over the same area repeated times and the fabric remained wrinkled. I tried it on shirts, pants, and table linens. Very poor results. I could not recommend it.

It is fun to use, I can see my tops stretch to fit me, my bottoms' really look nice for no ironing, and my husband's shirts have no dryer wrinkles. Do not be hesitant in buying one.

This is a very nice steamer. I called the manufacturer with two questions: (1) the steamer makes a pumping sound, and I was told this was normal. Secondly, the steamer put out water instead of steam on one occasion. I was told to hold the steamer either high or low to get out the standing water. I held the steamer high and the water went down the hose and steam came out. I was told by the manufacturer that this model is one of their older models. The steamer hangs on the wall in my closet, and I use it everyday. I am very happy with the steamer.

I have owned the Princeton for 2 years, and, except for a faulty kettle, which Discount Tommy quickly took care of by sending me a replacement kettle, I have had no problems whatsoever. In fact, one of the glass doors got broken during the warranty period, and Discount Tommy was good enough to send me a replacement!

The machine works as advertised, but you must take the time to let the kettle heat the oil up to get the best results. The 3 switches make for great control, and save useless wear and tear when you only need to heat the oil. This popper si a great value for the price!

I bought this popper because I wanted "more authentic movie theater style popcorn" than microwave popcorn. This product has exceeded all my expectations. It is a very sturdy machine, and significantly less expensive than comparable poppers. It was originally intended solely for home use, but the kids had a blast selling popcorn at our neighborhood garage sale. We were popping batch after batch and the Princeton Popper performed like a champ. Its real nice having the 8 oz capacity so you can pop larger batches. The heat lamp works great at keeping the pop corn warm and crisp.

I purchased the Great Northern Popcorn machine for our concession stand, the machine performed very well and kept up with the long lines for the hot buttery popcorn. Everyone was pleased most of all us since we had the "ONLY" Popcorn machine at the event. Still running strong after 3 years, we use it for football game, and at home in the off season!! Thanks Great American Popcorn!!!

Honest reviews on Great Northern Popcorn 6045 Princeton Antique Popcorn Maker

I was tired of going through 20 bags of a week of microwave popcorn and after some research I decided on this machine. I really like the design and how well it makes popcorn! We go through so much popcorn for our family that I buy the medium kernels in a 50 pound bag which you end up with a better kernel at a cheaper rate per pound, but you if don't use all the popcorn fast I would recommend getting a bunch of freezer bags and splitting the bag up. We use this for home use for a family of 5 and we go though 2 batches watching a movie.

It seems he perfect combination for this machine is a 1/4 cup of coconut oil, 1 cup of popcorn kernels and one teaspoon of Flavacol salt. The key to keeping your popper lasting a long time is the shut off the stirrer and the kettle as soon as the popcorn is done popping otherwise you could burn the kettle out if you left it on too long which I have seen this issue in other reviews on all popcorn machines.

Here is the purchases I got with mine.

I love my popcorn machine purchased from Discount Tommy's. First of all, it makes delicious popcorn that makes watching movies or just hanging out playing pool with friends and family a blast. We use the pre-packaged popcorn with butter/oil and it really is as good as movie-theater popcorn. Next, the machine looks great out on display and is relatively easy to clean. Most importantly for me, the customer service from Discount Tommy's has been phenomenal. A few months after we bought our machine, the turning mechanism was getting stuck. We tried to trouble shoot but didn't have any luck. I emailed customer service and after sending them a picture of the trouble part, they immediately sent out a replacement at no charge. They were responsive and a pleasure to deal with! I highly recommend this product.
