Cheap CADET MANUFACTURING CO 03365 Built-in Baseboard Thermostat

CADET MANUFACTURING CO 03365 Built-in Baseboard Thermostat
Customer Ratings: 3 stars
Buy Now
This is a standard thermostat for Cadet baseboard electric heaters. It is easy to install. However, the thermostat mechanism on the inside of the unit is very fragile and susceptible to being bent during installation. This is especially true when wiring for 240V using 10/2 with ground wire.

Make sure your supply wires and wire nuts are well out of the way when you mount this thermostat. If you have to push the thermostat into the enclosure to mount it, you will likely bend or distort its temperature sensing mechanism.

If you also want to make a junction in this heater (six #10 wires) for supplying electricity to another baseboard unit, forget it. There will be too many large wires, and they will very likely damage the thermostat. Make the 240V junction in a separate box before you feed the baseboard heater. Then take your supply off the junction box and wire the next heater.

The heater is all that it said it would be, the only problem I had was it was set for propane gas and after it was connected to a natural gasline, it was malfunctioning but was not obvious why. I stumbled on the fact it was set for propane, I had to remove it from the wall and open the back to find this out but after I set it to natural gas, it worked great.

When I moved back to my original state and the home Dad had owned, he had been converted the house to 'all electric'! With the natural gas lines still intact I bought 5 Kozy World natural gas wall heaters and I need one more. They're Perfect! These units are simple to set low for bed time! I highly recommend these untis for both heating and astetics!

I bought one of these about a year ago and it died about one month ago. So I ordered a new one just like the old one, so I wouldn't have to change the gas lines to hook it up. Well that worked great, but this unit only worked for about 30 minutes and stopped working all together. All I can say is this is more Chinese junk, where these company's do not care about quality only about quantity.

Stay away from Kozy world products.

Heats up the room just as described No problems at all. Keeps my house nice and warm. Easy to use. I would recommend having the plummer install the gas line just to be safe unless you've already have one.

This a great heater. It blends unobtrusively into the room. Just set it to the desired temprature and watch it take over! It has 5 different heat settings which automatically go up or down depending on the temprature setting. It quietly warms up the entire room without the heat blast "in your face" that other heaters have. Great for the early winter time when you need some heat and avoid turning the full house heat on. I have 3 bedroom floor (about 1000 sq feet) and this heater was enough when the outside temp was in the low 40's and I did not need to turn the house heat on.

This portable hydronic heater works very well on a plug in 120vac receptacle and is very economical versus the regular convection heaters which keep you either too hot or too cold. It keeps my smaller room at a constant and comfortable temperature as per my setting. The reason for the 4 rating is the digital readout and controls are too low. I have to get on my hands and knees to set them, which isn't all too often, however It would be nice if Marley would either incorporate a remote control or position the readout and controls at a more convenient level. I also wish Marley would make this heater in a smaller version, like approx. 36-48 inches as I do have a need for a less lengthy one. Some other manufactures have smaller ones but they all require 240VAC and are not portable since they must be attached to a wall and do require an additional wall mounted thermostat. No thanks, too expensive and too complicated and involved for me!

I bought two of these for our church, expecting that the commercial-grade would hold up better than the home-grade coffee urn would. We only used them on Sunday mornings and occasionally once during the week. Two months after the one year warranty had expired, they both quit working within a month of each other. (That was how long the home-grade ones we bought for $20 had lasted.) Since the warranty had expired, I took them to a small appliance repair shop only to be told they could not be fixed. I was extremely disappointed in this product!

We purchased two of these beautiful coffee makers for our church. I have returned and replaced them both and now one of the replacements has also broken. I have only had the other replacement for three uses so we will see how long it lasts! It boils too hard and over, The sight glass leaks, The coffee won't actually perk and 40 minutes later you find out you have "HOT" water -no coffee. Very frustrating product. Very expensive. Very poorly made. I am out the money...Tired of paying the shipping to get it fixed! Trying a different brand!

Bought this product at Sams Club for $69. The dispensor spout broke the first time it was used, leaving us with ninety people at break time with no coffee. I was looking in Amazon for a replacement by a different manufacturer.

I bought this product from amazon a month ago and I am satisfied with the product. The shipment was on time. The brewing time is excellent. Material is good and would last long. Easy to assemble and washable. However, the price I paid via Amazon was $30 higher than what Sam's Club is selling for the same make and model. I will recommend customers to check it out at Sam's club before ordering via Amazon.

We bought this beautiful coffee pot for our High School PTO. Used it no more than 7 times, and the dispenser spigot broke while in use. Luckily, it didn't burn anyone, and it didn't spill all over the table. But the many high school parents who were hoping for coffee before our orientation settled for bottled water instead. Luckily, we had the receipt and returned for a full refund. So bummed it broke, because all the other coffee pots are uglier!

DeLonghi PAC W130E 13,000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

I admit, I got suckered into buying this unit because of the marketing and slick featureset. What a disappointment.

I am returning it as quickly as possible, and would probably avoid Delonghi products going forward. I was trying to get information on where to buy replacement filters from Delonghi USA (& Canada), the former did not reply to several emails (USA tech support), and the latter the Canadian support email bounced (no such mailbox). What a joke.

PROS:

Really nice & modern color scheme, graphite and silver.

Pretty blue LCD that displays everything you need to know.

Eco-friendly refrigerant

Side handles (because its very heavy)

3M Biosilver Techsystem

CONS:

VERY Noisy sounds like an old dishwasher when cooling in Water to Air mode (swishing noise, I am guessing the rotary engine cooling off using the water).

Water refilling to get optimal cooling (to get 13K BTU) is annoying & frequent (Tested on a very hot day I had to refill it every 6 hours), I would bet that most people would give up on this eventually. Without the water, this unit does 9000 BTU in air cooling.

Huge This thing is only portable due to the casters. Very bulky.

No Oscillating Louvers! The air is blown up in one direction, no choice.

No information on how (part#?) or where to buy the 3M filters that should be replaced once a year.

Heavy Perhaps I'm being picky here, but this thing is so heavy (128 lbs).

What I recommend instead: The Sharp CVP10MX, as most people here (Amazon) have had a great experience with it. I recommend you have a look.

I had a Sharp unit that finally gave out and when searching Amazon I found this new DeLonghi air conditioner with eco-friendly refrigerant. I have always liked DeLonghi products for their stylish looks and this air conditioner is no execption.

I have a metal roof with vaulted ceilings and when it gets hot the upstairs loft gets about 10* hotter than the rest of the house and since this is where I sleep I need some extra comfort. We turn it on around dinner time and put it in the turbo function that uses both water and air cooling to bring the temperature down and then when we get ready for bed we turn it down to the sleep function which is pretty quite for an air conditioner.

I like the easy to read LCD display and the super cooling with the water tank really helps get the room temperature down quickly. This is a solid unit that weighs about 130 pounds so the casters and built in handles help in moving it around. It has all the bells and whistles with 24 hour timer, auto/sleep function, turbo cooling and even dehumidifies. The R410a eco-friendly gas refrigerant was a bonus as I try to do my part to help the enviornment.

I currently own 2 other portable AC units (1 Sharp, 1 Danby...both waterless) due to the window's I have in the old house my apartment is in and this Delonghi blows the other 2 out of the water...no pun intended. I was skeptical about having to add water to this unit, but the level of performance it produces due to this is well worth it. This is now the only unit I leave on during the day for my pets while I'm at work...as long as I leave the doors to the other rooms open, it will keep my entire apartment cool even during the hottest summer days. My other 2 units couldn't produce the same results in tandem. 100% satisfied with this green machine. Gotta love Italian craftmanship!!! Anyone want to buy one of my old AC's?

I bought this air conditioner because I own a DeLonghi air conditioner which I bought in 1994, after 17 years, it still works fantastic, I have it in our guest room because it's a smaller unit but works with water just like this one but the older model with detachable water tank. After the summer season, I really clean it well, de-calcify it and it works tirelessly for 17 summers. I bought a Bosch air conditioner 5 years ago, it's as heavy this appliance but doesn't give the perfect cooling effect, it doesn't work with water just fan, and although it is supposed to cool a 45 sq.m room, it actually can just cool a small room, so it's now in the bedroom. Believe me, Bosch air conditioner is as loud as a DeLonghi although it works just with fan.

I have this DeLonghi PACW130E in our living room 52 sq.m, it really works wonder even in real hot summer days. I have to admit that it is loud, but I get used to it because it is efficient, it is quiet if the cooling is in the fan mode, so quiet that you hardly hear any noise. I don't mind filling the tank every 6-8 hours, filling the tank is easy, takes just few minutes. Since I live in Europe, there are stores selling DeLonghi accessories like filter, spare-parts, decalcifying liquid etc... The filter is expensive though.

I gave this one a 4 stars instead of 5 because it is loud. I would recommend this air conditioner to anyone who wants a real cool atmosphere in a hot summer day.

I was pleasantly surprised at what a good job this little steamer does for the price. I've used it to remove set-in wrinkles from new clothing and to freshen up items taken out of the closet. I also used it to remove dents in my carpet from furniture. Pretty good product. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold very much water, but I was still able to steam about 3 garments before re-filling. Would recommend it for small jobs.

A great product; I took it with me on a trip to make sure my clothes looked good after being crush-packed on a motorcycle. It did the job beautifully and I highly recommend it to Amazon users. JUST REMEMBER, as at least one reviewer did not, this is NOT an IRON! It's a STEAMER and is meant to be used with the clothing hanging from a hanger!

This is too small to be anything other than a hand steamer for wrinkled clothes when one is traveling. At that, it spits out water when it's heated. It should be advertised with that limit on it. It is much too small to use over straight fabrics like bedspreads, linen, bedskirts, which is why I purchased it. I wish I had not purchased it. Deluxe Fabric Steamer it is not.

I ordered this after receiving a Amazon gift card as a gift. I didn't seek it out, but found it perusing around on the site and thought it looked cool so I took a chance. We always have backyard campfires over an old tree stump, and sometimes if they get a little too big I keep the water hose handy to keep it contained. But that problem was solved when we got the fire ring. We love it! It contains the fire and looks really cool with the moon and star cutouts. Our friends always compliment us on it and ask where we got it. It's really heavy duty too, and the material is anti-rust (we haven't seen a speck of rust and it's been sitting in the elements for several months). It's fairly priced, looks cool, and very practical. Plus it was really easy to put together. A definite must have for any backyard fire! Makes things a LOT more safe too.

Nicely made it's heavy enough gauge steel to keep it from bending but not too heavy to move if necessary. We use ours at campgrounds that don't have their own fire rings. We replaced the included nuts and bolts with stainless steel bolts and wing nuts to make assembly/disassembly easier although there is nothing wrong with the included hardware. It's slightly larger than I would have liked 3' in diameter but there is nothing comparably-made that is smaller. After having several very hot fires in it there is no noticeable damage to the paint or metal it should last us many years. I am well pleased with it.

Best Deals for CobraCo FRSTAR369 Evening Sky Campfire Ring

I bought this campfire ring because I liked the night sky design. I was pleased to find that it is easy to assemble and is made of a heavy enough gauge of steel to last for years. I built a base for the ring from landscape stone and have received several compliments on the uniqueness of the our campfire setup, and yes the sky design looks great lit up! I recommend this product for it's design, durability and price.

Honest reviews on CobraCo FRSTAR369 Evening Sky Campfire Ring

I chose it for the size & it 'seemed' sturdy.

I truly expected it to be flimsy & hoped for the best. It is actually quite thick & sturdy. Cannot beat it for the price I paid. Love this type because it is lower maintenance than the portable ones & is much larger.

Family has made s'mores & hot dogs already. May get adventurous & get a grill top for it.

*UPDATE* One concern is that it does rust easily. The screws are the worst. We had to sand & spray it w/ rust proof black. I HIGHLY recommend you buy some rustolleum spray paint and treat it before assembly, then follow up with another blast around screws. It will save a ton of work & extend the life a lot.

I bought two of these (although not from this seller) and while they work great for heat, after using them for a few days, 1 showed signs of heat in the 12v plug and was replaced with another. The second one was used rather sparingly knowing the first one showed signs of too much resistance (heat) and unfortunately it started to melt in the socket. While I was able to pull out the plastic plug and assorted melted strands, the heat affected the socket, and now it works rather poorly and will only support low current draw devices. Lucky that this plug is an aux plug, so we still have 1 that can support high amperage devices.

I invite the seller to plug one of these in their car... And report back!

My heater has a problem in my car that may end up being a $700 fix so my mechanic suggested a little heater to help a bit. I bought one of these heaters for $10 in October 2012 and, while it doesn't heat the whole car, it did help keep me warm driving around town. Turn plug it in, set it on the seat next to me, and turned it on. If it was an especially cold night I would place it under a blanket to contain the heat, making sure not to block the intake.

Unfortunately the wiring in the cord and the fuse on the line aren't that great. I think I get about 3 months of use (6-12 hours/week) before they burn themselves out. The first one short circuited and burned up/melted the on/off and fan mechanism. The second one simply will not take a charge any more, died only last night (1/6/2013). If you can get it for very cheap (like I did) then it isn't really too bad.

Not as powerful as I hoped, it takes about 20 minutes to start warming a larger car. The stand it comes with broke the first time I tried to move it. Would work better with a compact car probably.

Review of BISSELL ProHeat 2X Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9200

BISSELL ProHeat 2X Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9200
Customer Ratings: 3 stars

This is the first machine I have owned; however, it is among many I have borrowed over many years.

Assembling and acquainting myself with it took only 10 minutes.

I was very happy to buy this unit as the cleaning solution and water vessels are separate. So, I can rinse my carpets after cleaning them.

The heating unit works in just one minute after filling the water bladder and placing it back on the deep cleaner. Then...you are off and cleaning your carpets.

Using it on a 12' x 12' bedroom and a 14' x 25' great room was pretty easy and pleasureable. The result was perfection in a spotless carpet! Most importantly, a spotless carpet with little shampooing residue left behind compared to other cleaners.

Why not 5 stars as a rating from me?...Well, the following are the issues I have but am willing to deal with:

*** They say you can leave the cleaning solution in the tank until the next time you clean, which could be many months from now. I do not recommend this as the unit seemed to leak while the cleaning solution was left in the tank and the unit was merely sitting with the cord wrapped up. Simply dump the cleaning solution back into the bottle and rinse out the vessel.

*** Carpet fibers seem to adhere to the bottom of the unit behind the brushes. To avoid dislodging these fibers onto the carpet during cleaning, the bottom of the unit should be wiped down frequently.

*** To keep the unit in tip top shape, the rollers, sucking unit, water bladder, and cleaning solution vessel should be removed, rinsed, and allowed to dry thoroughly. Direction are given in the manual to remove all of these items properly; however, it requires 15 minutes of dismantling...then overnight to dry...then another 15 minutes to reassemble. Unscrewing screws is involved 4 screws...this was to access the front sucking nozzle and two rollers. To remove the water bladder and replace it seems to put a bit of wear on the bladder and I anticipate having to buy a replacement for this in the years to come. BUT...each piece that is rinsed off cleans up VERY easily and dries well.

*** The design of the water bladder-dirty water vessel is a bit odd. You fill a bladder (plastic) with hot tap water. The bladder is seated in a rigid plastic containment unit. It turns out this rigin plastic containment unit is the dirty water vessel. The water from the carpet is sucked in and resides on the outside of the clean water bladder. Clever design, but somewhat of a pain as the vacuum/ no vacuum trigger can be easily tripped if the unit bumps into furniture or you move it left or right to quickly. The reason seems to be the water sloshing around outside the bladder and inside the bladder flow and trigger the valve to prematurely open and stop the sucking. Not a huge issue, just an annoyance b/c you have to turn off the vacuum and jostle the unit a bit to get the valve to close again.

*** The placement of the accessory hose is awkward especially if you are a left-handed vacuumer. My leg would bump into the hose and the latch they have designed to secure it is not very good at keeping it secure. I had to reseat the hose 5 times during the cleaning of my two rooms... Again, an annoyance.

*** The wheels on the unit are large in diameter, which makes the unit very easy to maneuver even though it is heavy (I agree with a prior reviewer that heavy is good in a carpet cleaner). However, I question how well they are assembled to the machine as there seems to be some give left-to-right as you turn the unit...we'll see about this in the long run.

All in all, I am still quite satisfied with the unit as it does all that I wanted it to do. I am not sure that you would not have other annoyances with other brands as well...in other words, I do not think there is a perfect carpet cleaner as I have been researching them for weeks now...all of them seem to have issues in some way or another. But the issues I describe here versus the result in clean carpets...has me very happy to own the Bissell ProHeat 2X.

After owning Hoovers, I recently tried this model. I have been generally happy with my last two Hoover carpet cleaners and they have been durable for me. I used both TONS -the 1st one was a very early model that was still going strong after 5 or 6 years of hard use, and I replaced it with one that had rotating brushes. It also got years of use but I accidentally damaged it thru my negligence. (Used it in an unheated cabin, left it overnight, and it got well below freezing I broke the spray trigger when I impatiently tried to use it.) My last one still worked if you pushed the surge button and then pried it up again, but I decided to get a new one.

I purchased the Hoover 914-900, but it leaked before even starting to use it, so I returned it and bought a Bissell Proheat 2x. I liked that it seemed easier to clean the machine than the Hoovers, and that it had a rinse option, although not conveniently located. I noticed immediately with first use that it wasn't as good as even my old (trigger broken) Hoover. The Bissell didn't extract water well at all, even though I went over and over an area trying to get the water up. It was obvious by looking that it also didn't clean as well (probably as a result of leaving dirty water still in the carpets.) If it'd been my first carpet cleaner I might have thought it great since it did get dirt out, but I knew they didn't look as clean as in the past and mostly they were WET. The next day, before returning it I bought ANOTHER Hoover 914-900 thinking the first leaky one was an anomaly. The 2nd one leaked initially also, but once I used it for a minute, pressed and released the trigger a few times and the seals got wet, it stopped leaking. Thus I had two new cleaners to try side-by-side. Where I used the Bissell after the Hoover, there was no difference, the Bissell didn't get the carpet any cleaner. Where I used the Hoover on where I'd cleaned with the Bissell the night before -a BIG difference. The carpet was visibly cleaner; (it's a very light carpet so it's easy to see that) the dirty water collected confirms that it picked up dirt the Bissell left behind; and the carpet was drier. This was a return to what I expected based on my last 2 Hoovers -damp carpet, not WET carpet, and I think it's why the Hoover cleaned better. The Hoover isn't perfect -the tanks need to be bigger for fewer trips to the sink (if too heavy for some people, they wouldn't have to fill as full), and there is no good way to clean it! I did like the idea behind the Bissell of having clean water with which to either mix with the detergent and spray, or to rinse with, and it would be a plus if Hoover would find a way to do that. (Especially if the "rinse" button was on the handle and easily accessible.) But Bissell's technique of inserting a plastic bladder for clean water inside the dirty water tank means neither holds much water which makes for extremely frequent trips to the sink. Also, having to stop, bend over, and switch a dial on the base to "rinse" and the same to switch back to cleaning mode was highly inconvenient. Last, Bissell's on-board water heater didn't seem to make a difference. Leaving behind too much dirty water was its downfall, it didn't matter that the water went in "heated." I used the hottest tap water I could in the Hoover and it worked just fine. The "proheat" seems to me to be just another unneeded gizmo that can break. Overall, I guess it depends on what's most important to you. For me, clean carpets that dry in a couple of hours trumped ease of cleaning the machine.

Best Deals for BISSELL ProHeat 2X Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9200

Others have gone into very good detail about this machine so I won't go over that again. What I will add, however, is that there are a couple weird things about this carpet cleaner that I didn't expect.

The first is that if you have pets you will have to go back and pick up clumps of hair even if you've just ran the vacuum cleaner. This is a good/bad situation as it's good that it's getting up all the hair that the vacuum cleaner missed but it's also a pain in the back (literally) to have to bend over every minute or two to pick up clumps of hair or risk clogging up the carpet cleaner with hair. We've lived in this house for 2 1/2 years and have had 2 cats the whole time, 2 dogs for 2 of those years so we expected some pet hair. We've ran the vacuum cleaner twice a week on average ever sinced we moved in, however, so you may not have that problem if you don't have as many animals as we have.

The second quirk and one that will effect everyone is the fact that it seems to leak. We have a "green machine" (portable hand held Bissell) that we have the same problem with so it seems to be a problem with all Bissell's. After you turn off the carpet cleaner and wrap the cord up you'll be surprised to see a mess of dirty water under where the carpet cleaner was. Tacks such as running a minute or so (continually moving it) before shutting it off doesn't work either. We have to store the carpet cleaner in the garage as it will continue to leak out over the next few hours or so and leaves a puddle of water about 6 inches in diameter.

The final little quirk is that, even though it cleans well, be prepared for the carpet to be very wet when you're done. The carpet cleaners that we're all familiar with that we rented when we lived in an apartment (rug doctors) dry your carpet better I believe because they're heavier. Bissell had to walk the fine line of making it light enough for the petite among us to use it while still cleaning the carept without doing damage to it. Like I said above, it cleans pretty good but the carpet is very wet afterwards. This quirk isn't that bad as long as you plan ahead.

Overall I give it 4 stars because it does it's job but the quirks keep it from being a must have product.

Honest reviews on BISSELL ProHeat 2X Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9200

I have never owned a carpet cleaner like this before. I used an upright Hoover a couple years ago that a friend owned but that's my only experience with this type of machine.

My wife and I have a large area rug approx. 12x16 and it needed cleaning bad. It had many stains from over 4 years of use. Most of the stains I had tried to remove with good'ol elbow grease but no luck. We decided to have it professionally cleaned but when we realized how expensive it was going to be ($300!!) we decided to buy our own. We purchased the Bissell Proheat 9200T from Target for $200 (Sorry Amazon!).

The unit was easy to assemble and use. Of course it took some getting use to but overall very easy. It ran out of clean water twice while I was cleaning and each time I didn't realize it for a couple of strokes. I wish there was an easy way to know if it needed more water. Also, like the previous poster mentioned carpet gunk gets stuck under the machine behind the rollers and it needs to be wiped clean periodically while cleaning. You also have to dismantle the front roller assembly by removing 5 screws in order to properly clean the unit when finished. I wish this was easier but I don't see it as a major problem as I don't anticipate using this everyday.

Our carpet is now spotless! We are thrilled with the results. There were dark black stains on our light beige colored rug for years and they are all gone now. I was only expecting a minor improvement but this machine made the rug look new again!!

For only $200 we have a brand-new rug and a great machine that will hopefully last for years. I can't recommend Bissell enough

One person said the cleaner did not pick up the water. You have to make sure the water container is pushed in really good & has a good seal. The first time I used it, it didn't pick up the water; after reading the manual, I tried again & pushed down on the container while steamer was on. Could really 'hear' the difference when pushed down with a good seal.

I prefer the Hoover which has separate clean & dirty water containers & for ease of use!

We had a Haier dehumidifier for a week emptying it occasionally before we realized the automatic shutoff didn't work. It flooded our basement ruining the carpet. Then Haier's insurance company doesn't want to pay for the replacement carpet.

We sent our unit back for replacement. So far nothing, they've had it for a few days but didn't send one out until we called then said they'll send it out.

Poor product, poor customer support, poor relations with claims. No more Haier products for us.

You would think I would learn, but after originally purchasing this item it did not work properly and did not shut off when the bucket was full. It overflowed for days before we realized it and my carpet was ruined. The company seemed helpful and sent me a replacement one which we used for quite awhile with no problem until yesterday...same scenario, more ruined carpet and the company refuses to deal with me because my inital purchase was over a year ago. This is so frustrating because the whole purpose of having a dehumidifier is to keep the moisture out of the room, not to be soaking every towel you can find with the overflow and spending days trying to dry the area out before it mildews. I have two other dehumidifiers in other areas of the house that I have used for years with no problems and my thought is that they are manual and this one is digital. Never again. I've learned my lesson this time.

Purchased this unit in July 2009. It worked fine for that summer and for 2010. Fan and compressor run, but it will not extract moisture in 2011. After the first year, parts are covered under warranty, but not labor. They do not have service stations.

This dehumidifier seems to work ok. It doesn't rattle and shake and it seems to suck moisture out of the air. However, there is a serious flaw with the hose coupling. Sure, it comes with a 3 foot cheap plastic hose that works just fine, but after 2 years, it developed cracks and needed replacement. I went outside and cut off a length off of an old garden hose, and it DID NOT FIT the bucket. I've never heard of a dehumidifier that wouldn't take a standard hose attachment. Good luck finding a replacement drain hose for it and the cap for the back was long gone after two years.

If this happens to you, instead of contacting Haier, which I assumed would be as good at getting me a replacement as they were designing these things, try cobbling something together. Get some plumbers tape and wrap a bunch of it around the male end on the bucket (it is too small for a regular hose attachment). Wrap it until the female end of the hose barely fits on, then tighten the coupling. After that, wrap some more plumbers tape around the outside, until it is completely covered. Then cover with duct tape to make sure. That keeps the hose itself from leaking if it's prone to. Well, it works for now anyway. Bottom line; stay away from this poorly designed humidifier.

First one was purchased in the spring of '09. It worked that year but when starting up the following spring it was dead. Haier replaced it under warranty and the replacement worked last year. This spring the new one is dead. Both had refrigerant leaks and Haier wouldn't replace as you are under the first one year warranty. So thats 2 in 2 years that both failed boy those chinese sure make a good product for Haier. Never a Haier product again !!!!!
